don't worry.. i think Milestone will be the fastest among android manufacturers in giving out new updates..

Yeah, Milestone can really catch up on the updates even faster if not because of Motorola's 'business consideration' policy. First its a plain vanilla UI though not connected to Google but to Motorola's own servers.

I think HTC devices will have a harder time getting updates due to that Sense UI. But it gets great support from custom developers.

Select the album you want to see with two finger touch on the screen and open your finger. You can see the preview effect.

so much better than 2.1

but i have been accustomed to cyanogen that it's kinda awkward to see the white background in the message.

is thr any app that will allow me to change the background color and the font size? i don't mean those flashy style text app...

i just wanna change the background color to black and smaller font size just like cyanogen.

Kesian the HTC users, they have to wait even longer  sweat.gif

I guess most of our sympathy should be given to X10 users. Not even any news for Froyo! laugh.gif

At least, for HTC users, there's still hope.

nah, i won't hold my hopes that HTC will update the older phones...

even Legend is missing from the list when they assured that the "new" phones will be updated...

so Dream, Magic, Tattoo, Hero and Legend owners, let the rooting begins... laugh.gif

I'm using the Legend now but seriously considering the Nexus One just so I could get any firmware update first... and fast. The only thing holding me back was the price and local warranty of the N1.

SE must be cursing right now. All their hardwork to update the UI for 2.1 and there goes 2.2. All wasted in what... mere months?

I think SE has a different mindset with respect to updates. Its as if SE is seeing the X10 as a feature phone and it doesn't want its customers to bother about what lying underneath as long as the features advertised is there. That goes well with regular consumers, but not geeks like us hehehehe... If you bought or understand SE's featurephone products, you will know what I'm talking.
