tested the maxis bb at bukit katil in melaka.
can get 2 bar for hsdpa.. speed wise, it's ok..

always get this kind of speed in my room, WCDMA or GPRS, hardly HSPA

how come celcom gets more signal than maxis in my room?

it means that celcom coverage is better in yr room compare to maxis..

and when i go outside my room... sitting on the bench at garden.. tADA~ see my signature? WTF, online have to go outside my house and feed mosqito

if you wan to get stronger signal, you can buy external antenna for yr e1762 (if u using this).

im using my maxis broadband indoor.
and the signal is extremely good !

About the torrent speed.
I would like to remind that upload speed may affect your download speed while you set limit on it.

i set upload torent speed <10kbps..

download = unlimited..

hey to all pros out there,im having this issue with maxis bb now..that is maxis bb actually blocked the game im playing which is RAN online..im getting very frust cause cant play ~~ anyway to sort this problems out?i heard my friends said that maxis bb actually blocked a few other games too..help urgently needed T.T please help me~

today i just subscribe to 3.0gb package...just wanna ask here, how long do i need to wait so that i can use it after registration?

are you able to torrent even during office hour in weekday too?

seems that i'm unluckly now..is more then 12hours now...quite anxious......
the salesman told me is within 24 hours.....n no signal bar at all....

btw do i need to any setting on the modem....my modem is E1762

and do i need to create an account first at maxis "MyAccount Portal" b4 i could connect the modem.

when the first time you plug in the e1762 to yr nb/pc, it will detect it and then you need to install the driver/etc..
other than this, you don't need to change anything at all.

did it give you any error when you click "connect" on the maxis dashboard?

nope..u dun need to create an account in mylaunchpad to use the broadband...

connection terminated once i click connect.....but i see no signal bar at all

call to the maxis service desk to ask them whether yr line has been activated or not.

anytime..speed also same..

no line mean sim card still not activated..
