Hey guys..kinda in a dilemma now. I'm really interested in getting an iPad. But most of friends says they are really of not much use to me. I am a student and most of what they say are right. So anyway advice from u guys?I got a friend coming back from UK and i could ask to help me buy. Its it worth it to get from UK?

Depends on what they meant by "not much use to you". Everyone has different needs and wants and everyone has a different reason for getting an iPad. Believe if you are able to fit the iPad into your lifestyle rather than the other way around, then it is a just purchase smile.gif Buying from UK will probably add a bit more to the cost but hey never say no to free shipping I guess smile.gif

A lot of people seems to think an iPad can fits their lifestyle... that's the problem.
They tend to "force" fit iPad into their lifestyle.... Just to justify the purchase. BIG problem...
It should be the other way around... Think about the things that you do daily ... can it be replace by an iPad? A lot of apps need to be purchase to make it complete... Otherwise people will get stuck with the "default" apps and later they complain, iPad can't do want they want.

Agree with you totally smile.gif My statement meant that you should see whether the iPad can complement the things you do on a daily basis.
