Hullo Im new here sorry if I'm doing somethign wrong. I am a big arsenal fan especially of old players like bergkamp and  and pires. Is there anywhere I can get old lextra NN for my old shirts? pre-2007 lextra is what I'm looking for because I have some arsenal legends I want to print on old shirts I'm collecting. Some are not on ebay b ecause they were not very popular.

Also can someone tell me if these one I find on ebay are real or not? and are they lextra? do you think lextra or PU one is okay?

Bergkamp Shirt

^I want that one the most because bergkamp is my favorite but i don't think it's lextra sad.gif Also I don't fit extra large.

What about these ones?
Rare old shirt

That was is quite rare but I'm not sure if the seller is real or not when he says it's in almost new conition.
Thank you all for help, you all seem like very pro at this. smile.gif

Hi.

First of all.. are you really female? Hehehe.. It doesn't matter anyway.

The first jersey (Arsenal Maroon) looks to me like it's fake, because of the sizing info near the collars:

user posted image

It looks dodgy to me.

The second one looks authentic to me.

To find the old epl namesets is a bit hard nowadays... you can try looking at ebay.

hehe I dunno

naw i'm a bit sad, I thought it would be real because I really like bergkamp and it's really hard to find a copy of that. sad.gif

How to be really sure it is fake?

I send a message to the seller and he says that this if it is fake then he is ripped off by the person he bought it from. He will check and tell me. I hope that it's real. I think if it's a brand new Bergkamp shirt, I will definitely buy it but if its fake then not.

And old epl namesets, usually people charge so high on ebay and there is not everyone I want. sad.gif

i usually buy from wiggy because they do really nice printing and it comes in a week or a week and half. I think its best to call or email them to be sure. At least you will be less worried and maybe they will have a record for you? ^^

re chikorita85,
advice is dont be choosy on EPL old nns, it is getting out of stock world. So better buy what you can get on ebay, even though it may not be cheap, if u really want to complete ur shirt. If not u may try look for shirt with NNs on ebay too.

That is quite sad, why don't the product them anymore? Is lextra a secret technique, no other producers can make them as they are out of print now?

Its no longer used by the clubs, thats why its not produced anymore.

Lextra is the american company that owns the patent to the heat transfer print for EPL NNs pre 07. Sporting ID / Chris Kay was the official supplier. But lextra and Sporting ID has since broken off, and the new EPL NNs are produced by Sporting ID with their own technology called Scencilia.

re chikorita85, we do not condone fakes here tongue.gif but i dont agree there are "good" fakes from china, the glue and the material will only last good initially, after a few washes u will see the difference.

Anyway why would u wan to put fake nns on ur shirts especially if they are rare? better keeping them plain.

the only "grey area" are some repro NNs produced for shirts where the NNs were not officially available in the first place for public sale ie up until the early 1990s.

re renjiv2,

as arvil22 pointed out, unlikely. those are only prepared for match shirts. you can diy though if you really want it by sending the same to embroidery shops provided u get a very good picture.

re kikurazz,

unlikely as it stands now. they are controlled items by FIFA. But inevitably there will be leaks, so look out for them and be preapred to pay slightly higher fees for them.
