As stated by all who speak from expereince here, better cap it at RM400 for your purchase and below 1kg to avoid attention and to be in the safe limit. Above that the likelihood is higher.

And yes if you dont pay tax for your items you will not get your items. And you wont get a refund either based on this "reason".

the Kastam will use the exchange at the time your goods arrive not at the time payment la. And GUESS WHAT customs normally used an exchange rate about 10% more to compensate dont know what. They are not following the shipping cost stated in your invoice. They follow dont know what international courier rate.

the important point here is that u need to leave a margin of error.
abit extra to avoid surprises.
as u know the currency exchange rate changes everyday.

and one thing to note, the charges kitbag charges their customers is different from what UPS charges kitbag.
thats why sometimes the shipping price varies greatly.

Just wanna ask something about this Celtic jersey. Currently this jersey is owned by my brother-in-law and I'm not sure how he got hold of the jersey. If I'm not mistaken, the jersey is Celtic's Home 03-04 season (his Celtic collection consists of one SS home 03-04 and one LS home 03-04).

The question is, how can I authenticate this jersey and prove that it's the original one?

when i look back at my previous "declaration of goods imported forms", freight declared by kitbag is rm58 (gbp11.85) which is the same with what they charge me.
It also stated there "BARANG2 BERCUKAI BERNILAI RM500 DAN KURANG DIKECUALIKAN DARIPADA DUTI/CUKAI MELALUI 172, PERINTAH DUTI KASTAM (PENGECUALIAN) 1988 DAN BUTIRAN 109, PERINTAHCUKAI JUALAN (PENGECUALIAN) 1980".

My purchase is 3 off-season jerseys amounting to gbp63.91 (including express shipping), dont know why kitbag need to declare this to malaysia customs
