Malaysia PI, you can go 1 to 2 sizes up i.e. if you are a replica M, you can go for PI L or XL. but that also depends on the 'cut' you want, some ppl are not used to too tight fitting thus may go 2-3 sizes up.
My experience is that I've got the replica M which was a bit too loose, and I got the PI L which is just nice. |

QUOTE(schmeichel7 @ Jul 29 2010, 09:42 AM) It's more to naik ki. I wouldnt be suprised if KIKI LALA or KIKO sponsored Malaysia..as long as FAM gets lots of money that GOD knows goes to where.. Harga jersi masih tinggi. Design creativiti tak naik naik ki. FAM won't bother too much as long as the cash goes into the pocket. Even if SCHWARZENBACH or CHEETAH sponsored malaysia, they don't mind as long as the price is right. |

ok guys....managed to free myself...
have done some comparison between Malaysian home PI shirt with my Nike PI shirt First of all, here's the size label...both printed...from the naked eye, seems like using same materials...I'm wearing L for Nike PI shirt and XL on the Malaysia PI home shirt...both Made In Morrocco Malaysia shirt label XL XL EG TG White Nike shirt L L 183cm GB 42/44 I 52/56 F 52/56 D 52/56 why there's no other indication on the Malaysian shirt? even for chest size? I guess Nike was too occupied with something else to put em in... Airated back shirt? checked.... Printed washing label? Check...Again, same material..... No Issue here. But look at the seams below the label.... Stitched seam vs heat sealed seam. Malaysia PI shirt seems to has the same stitched seam as replica shirt.... but not really an issue for me And last but not least, how does both compair? as you can see here, Malaysian PI shirt is quite small...look at the sleeves and both under arms....Nike design this shirt with a small person in mind...not sure why...maybe they think a lot of Malaysian are midgets I guess.. But still, I still can fit the shirt quite nicely...a little tight fitting here and there..actually it's good, motivates me to slim down a bit..ahahahah and some ratings from me Price: 4/5...quite cheap for a PI shirt. It's on clearance sale, I guess I was lucky Material: 5/5...feel, touch and wears as same as my PI shirt...feels good on my skin Design: 4/5...pretty simple..the 'Keris' stamp inside the shirt I think was pretty cool... Would I wear it on a weekly basis?: If only I was with close friends...wouldn't want the whole town knows I have a sexy tummy And Nike, pls give us a proper sizing for the next Malaysia shirt.....I beg you |

QUOTE(rooneybeckham @ Jul 29 2010, 08:31 PM) can any taiko and experts here help me to verify the chest measurement of below jerseys? For vintage umbro jerseys, they stated in cms on the label, by coverting to inches, it would beMan Utd 94-96 Home L size - 46'' Man Utd 96-98 Home L size - 46'' Man Utd 97-99 Away XL size - 46'' Man Utd 01-02 Centenary Reverse XL - 46'' all of these i get it from eBay seller.. please correct it if anythings wrong.. thanks Man Utd 94-96 Home L size - 107 cms = 42 inches Man Utd 96-98 Home L size - 107 cms = 42 inches Man Utd 97-99 Away XL size - 112 cms = 44 inches Man Utd 01-02 Centenary Reverse XL - 44-46 inches However, if you measure the shirt in circumference from armpit to armpit, they are as below, Sorry, i don't have all the sizes you stated, but you can use it as reference Man Utd 94-96 Home M size - 43 inches Man Utd 96-98 Home L size - 46 inches Man Utd 97-99 Away L size - 46 inches Man Utd 01-02 Centenary Reverse L - 45 inches |

QUOTE(samaranda @ Jul 29 2010, 12:41 AM) That's what I do too. It's so frustrating seeing shirts in my collection that I can't wear (the small size ones). So I wear as many as I can, while at the same time try to collect other shirts as well. Bros, I just wonder where can I buy those kedai dobi plastic covers? Supermarket? Thx............One more thing, do you guys hang your shirts in plastic covers (like the kedai dobi one) or just leave it in their original plastic? |

QUOTE(xofyls @ Jul 30 2010, 02:19 AM) I got two types of those dobi plastic covers:(i) Get it free from the dobi shop, or pay something like RM1 for 3 pieces. The plastic is the thin and clear type. Very easy to koyak one, if you're not careful. (ii) Buy from Ikea, 3 pieces (two medium and one long) in one packet for RM10. The plastic is quite thick and strong. Can't really see your jerseys when using it as it's semi transparent (with a little transparent window near the top) and covers the whole jersey. Comes with zippers. you can buy them from a number of wholesalers. There is one area of wholesellers in KL near time square (in fact get off Hang Tuah LRT and the stretch is next to the station) where you can get all types of stuffs - the cheap plastic covers cost around RM15 - 20 for every kg - which is about 40-50 pieces - these types u need to cut the holes yourself... then of cos you have the more expensive ones at various prices. And oh, it is a heaven ifu wan to get hangars and mannequins
But bear in mind to be careful with the plastic covers, especially when used to cover your shirts with PU NNs/ Sponsors. Do take the effort to flwp the plastic / shirt once in a while to make sure there is "breathing space" between the PU materials and the plastic cover. Dont worry it wont stick overnight, but if left unattended for a long period (weeks) then it will stick to it. Another thing to bear in mind when using plastic cover is you tend to neglect the weight it adds on to your shirt. One of my racks almost patah under the weight haha. As mentioned earlier, 40-50 pieaces would be an additional 1kg which is about 4 - 5 shirts extra weight. |
