Someone once said that U2311H doesn't have a HDMI port becoz they want to cut cost and hence the cheap price for us brows.gif  drool.gif

well,i dunno anything about editing sweat.gif
With DVI input, HDMI is redundant..... just a RM10 adapter difference....

Maybe you can try to select the signal source to HDMI. Try power on the monitor first after PS3.
I would say on the monitor before PS3..... but you may vary if it works....

Finally, a 30" with OSD and customizable controls (if those leaked photos are indicative of what the 30" will be)

However, despite all of us drooling over a 30" monitor, how feasible is it to use it in real life?
Even a 24" 16:10 is slightly larger for me at less than 1m away from the screen.

Couple that with a 30" 16:10 2560x1600 monitor, you will have to squint your eyes more (moving your body forward) and therefore causing you to lose sight of the whole monitor and therefore causing eye strains and injury.

I say buy 2 27" instead if I really wanted the real estate.
I've Four 24...... will probably get 2 more to form 3x2 Eyefinity...

or I'll just stick with 3x1...

yes it does. decided to send it back. Any idea how long it will take?
Try manual adjustment first?....Sending it back varies according to their stock availability .... mostly...

i prefer Full HD 1920X1080 with big screen most be 27inch or 30Inch
i prefer good calor and high end quality

HP 2710m 27 inch i know abit expensive then other brand monitor like dell or samsung etc
here link http://www.shopping.hp.com/product/display...WD119AA%2523ABA
do u sure why brand HP abit expensive
got good calor and quality then other brand monitor like samsung and dell
Get a 32inch 1080p TV..... much cheaper than Dell U3011 at 16:10 (2560x1600 pixels), google if you need confirmation, I believe links about it have been posted.

You can get 2 to 3... 32inch with one U3011.

hmm peeps, is it possible to hook up a 22' LCD monitor + a 32' HDTV on the same pc?
You can possibly hook-up like 10 years ago. Any 2 output GC or integrated GC can do it..... With ATI/AMD 5 series you can hook-up up to 6 displays.

Dell ST2321L vs Dell UltraSharp U2311H. whats your opinion on these 2 monitors? Which one is better for gaming/movie. Already have st2410 and thinking of getting another monitor. Does IPS panel beats LED backlight in term of picture quality here?
IPS beats TN panel...

Hi all,

This is information for those who had purchased Dell LCD and experiencing issue with it. Recently I had purchased Dell LCD U2410 with extended 5 years warranty. As soon as I plugged into my PC, I detected there was a bright pixel (pixel in red color on white/grey background)

I did call up to Dell tech support and they immediately offered to have it changed as the personnel mentioned that it is still within 30 days period. Hence, 1-1 exchange with a new Dell LCD, not refurbished smile.gif

Therefore, to those who are experiencing issue with their Dell LCD and is still within 30 days period, perhaps you should give a call to Dell tech support team and to discuss with them wink.gif

Hopefully this new LCD free from dead/bright pixels icon_rolleyes.gif
Red pixel in White background.... that means blue and green sub-pixels are dead (most likely)

Hi bros! Whats the best 23" - 24" LED LCD for gaming?
Any TN LEDs.... or the rare TN @ 120Hz refresh rate(not sure of LED back-lit) though... You'll need DL-DVI or DP (input ports) for the additional bandwidth.

with 700 discount and today is last day..

I choose the 5 years warranty.. wanna ask is it a waste to select 5 years?
normally I think 3 years are quite enough already right?

3 years is just rm21xx...5 years is rm25xx
3 years is sufficient.... in most cases.....

Oh mai! I think i better prepare at least 3k for that biggrin.gif

Was actually looking around RM700-800. ST4210/BX2450 and U231H are definitely on my list for now. We'll see ... tongue.gif
Laptops very rarely have DP or DL-DVI which is required for the full resolution support for U3011...

Dell E-IPS.. 23" 1080p...

QUOTE(D.Sync @ Aug 16 2010, 12:47 PM)
Hi guys. Is there any solution to output full resolution of 2560x1440 via HDMI or any converter of some sort?
Possible with HDMI 1.3b and above.... trouble is no chipset on the monitor (or converter) is capable of handling anything than SL-DVI's resolution bandwith (a bit more than 1200p).

VGA can go beyond 2560x1440... again very rarely do monitor equipt a chipset capable for more resolution. These high res. monitor usually ignores (don't have) analog inputs.

how if I use those converter?
Coz my budget only 800 lo..
A dvi/hdmi adapter would be RM10 or less.... If sound is not of concern HDMI or DVI makes no difference.... DP is more important for future proof.

Anyone can tell me is that much different when connecting the LCD by D-Sub and by DVI-D?
As from last 2 thread, I looking for viewsonic LCD but it coming without DVI-D cable, so I will going to use D-Sub, is it recommended to use DVI-D. Any gain in quality? Normally what is the price for DVI-D cable ?
RM 15 and below.... for the standard length.... I think I've around a dozen or so SL-DVI wires... two DL-DVI..

DVI is so very old school now .............. more than 1 decade already....
