to get a room easily, go to the nearest bus station tat the location u wanna stay and look out for the notice board there. i am sure there are tonnes of people post up their rooms for rent

try to get the number first, then call up the agent/owner, try make an appointment to view the room. It is important for u to view the room before u rent. Not only the room, try to get to know the owners whether they are weird or not. Singapore full of weird and fuzzy owners. If u like the room, it is time for u to negotiate the contract with the owner/agent. Make sure the contract is in black and white form.

it is true, just hav abit of chat with the owner, u can actually tell bout their attitude. My owner is actually very nice until his sister asking him to raise my rental, cannot do this cannot do tat. sheesh.

ya.. prepaid can actually save alot. like happy 128, u pay sgd28 and u get 100sgd local call + 25sgd international call. Although receiving do deduct the credit but heck with tat 100sgd local call, they can deduct as much as they like.
for me, tat 100sgd local call, i can't even finish it. |
