One thing that i learned when i job hunt in Singapore, no matter u got Master or PHD, as long as no working experience, it is hard for u to land on a job. Because a normal person will demand for high pay because they obtain master or PHD but the company in Singapore look it the other way round, which they want those with experience rather than just a piece of high quality paper.

yeah, when i first work and still under probation, i cannot claim any OT or allowance and my salary is only 1.6k. But i manage to save 800 per month. i spend 800 per month on food + transport only.

for me, 800 per month is too much for me, 380 for rental, 420 for food + transport. And also, i seldom go out thus i dun really spend much

QUOTE(edwardyap1214 @ Oct 1 2010, 01:13 PM) Im 22yo diploma holder just started job 1 month ago... holding spass as facility executive in hospital sg.....but the job was quite stress n tough due to fussy superior....im thinking whether wan to resign or not....any comment? Am i lucky? Or... hmm, u need to know. If u want to apply PR in the future, it is best u stay in the same company till u get PR before u gone off another job. Because once u switch job, the chances for u to apply for PR drop.

try ask ur house owner whether they register any internet in their home so tat u can share it also. if they dun have, u got 2 choices then.
1. get a mobile broadband. 2. ask for ur landlord permission to apply for a cable at home
