cassplayer, nice shot of the lights. But let me ask u one thing, what is your intended subject? Is it the lights at the back, or the ring? Coz if its the ring, then i think, clearly it's not working. If u did not mention about the ring, i'd nearly missed it. Try putting a directional light onto the ring, be it from a flash or it could be from a tablelamp. You can try snooting the light source to prevent light spills, so that u can maintain the nice colored lights at the back.

most probably aiming for the 28mm bcoz currently dont have prime lenses and quite good range/wide

Main subject was the lights, I also noticed the ring part not working.. My 3rd photo had a light shining onto the ring, but I also think that pic fail Cause half the pic was the bokeh, and at the bottom half, only the ring appear.

Ive done some "research" (or rather search), and I think Ive made up my mind to get a Benro Travel Angel. Im thinking of getting the A168M8 + B0 ballhead or the bigger bro the A268M8 + B1

I might be purchasing in bulk (ie meaning hopefully a few benros with some friends in a single order) to get a very good price (eg travel angel less ~RM60-100 from prices offered online)

Come la ramai-ramai buy benro...
