Added on July 14, 2010, 1:16 pmHi fortezens, yesterday went Puchong service centre (beside IOI mall) for 1st service. Damage 230.80 (oil filter, drain plug, syntium 3000). Took 4 hours, 2 hours for servicing, 2 hours for alignment issue, I see they swapping tyres, tested on the road 3 times, but alignment problem still there and not much improved. They want to try to fix it after lunch hour, but I can't wait anymore so I left.

Since is free, they only do the 'free' way....not the 'paid' way....
hope u understand it....
i willing pay the cost to get it better...the free?? of coz...juz the change the 'camber screw'

Ai... am planning to do my 1st 1k service this Monday in Setapak branch. Any advise whether they can resolve or at least improve the alignment steer left issue or not. Any good SC to recommend that can resolve this issue?

Change camber will void the warranty right?

For EX, dunno what tyre but for sure is not KUMHO

a) any reason why EX was chosen instead of SX? hope i can learn more. maintenance, ya, 17inch tyre much more expensive around RM 500. EX i think around RM 300.

b) i also read that EX can accelerate much faster than SX. less pedal effort. is it true and very significant where SX feels heavy and no power to overtake?

c) now my concern is the tyre noise for SX. something like rolling barrel on the roads. i heard this from test drive car. 2nd time test didn't really hear it. like metal grinding noise. any SX owners experiencing this? since most buyers are SX variant, any issue to comfort when driving in PLUS for long like causing fatigue?

d) this is my only worried. tyre noise. i understand EX doesn't have such a noise. been looking for EX test drive car but cannot find.

e) other than that, whether it'll be a bit more difficult to reverse with only 2 sensors for the EX. EX just with beep beep sound and no bar in the meter? i see that the 2 reverse sensors are located in the middle of the bumper. that means side ways cannot be detected not like the EX??

anyone bought forte around setapak ?
need someone reliable and can give low interest rate..dont have much time to survey..usually 10 days can get car ? if i got trade in and i want use back my plate no. and insurance will waste how many days ?
