however RPM is also depends on gearbox ratio settings.
2.9k RPM is normal for most of the 1.6 car, but i really doubt the altis 1.6 with 4 speed gear box can do 2.4k.

Yup..i'm in doubt also. If using 5 speed gearbox or perhaps a CVT, it will make sense.

like some views from Forte's owners. In todays NST, in BCT section of Family cars, there a report by a PROF, commenting the Forte's(dont know which version) fc is RM 8.88/km. Am not a Forate owner but I think a Rolls is also not high FC.

something wrong here?

example if i pump 40L @ RM1.80 = RM72
use 450KM = RM0.16/KM

how in the world can it be RM8.88/KM? gila kah!

typo error kot..i assume he own 1.6 and when he mention that he spend around rm50 a week for petrol..which is about 30km distance perday..meaning 210km perweek(if everyday he go to work)...rm50 for 210km = 1l/7.5km..something wrong with his car?mine 2.0.. rm50 can get 230km 100% city drive..

RM50 is only 27.7L @ RM1.80/L
27.7L/7days = 3.95L/day
3.95L x RM1.80/L = RM7.11/day

will give this brand special attention when visiting accessories shops...thx! my car definitely will need lots of care car will expose to direct sunlight each & every day sad.gif ...

btw bro saimatkong...i'm considering pps for exterior i'll give a visit to the shop soon...if do pps interior means dont need other stuff ie. cleaner/conditioner?? or shud use less of those..

the car so far couple of days performing up to expectation  nod.gif minus the highlights from other forumers road/tire noise actually quite noticable it my thought it's just the tire itself change to better tire shud reduce noise level..dont get the driver seat sound yet and aah love the red stitching superb touch up! and yeah the feeling 'why the car still not going!' is evident in a slightest moment when need to overtake but i tot it's acceptable..i used to drive manual only before & i havent touch the manual mode..

I mentioned this before:
Lets all concerntrate on getting Naza to extend the warranty of Forte.
Imagine after 2 years what if really some major parts or components started to breakdown. (components such as keylee, push start/stop, stereo, auto headlight, alternator, air compressor, starter, radiator may be even transmission etc) I cant imagine how much its would really cost, probably in thousands.
We need to reflect our concern to Naza during this weekend family carnival, why only such a low mileage and short cover period given to Forte.
A petition letter should be signed by all owners to voice our corcern and worriness to be given to Naza.
We owners should reflect our biggest concern to the Naza CEO.
Any good cars without the strong backup service support and reasonable period of warranty will eventually fail.
We really hope NaZa is listening to us!!!

Dah start lom petitionnye? Kalau buat mesti ramai yang sign.

My 1st tank pumped in Rawang Petronas was RM80.

Travelled around 460KM before distance to empty blinks, so all in all can get more than 500KM i think.

2nd tank today in Shell, RM85. So far so good, FC dropped to around 8.6l/100km. Will monitor some more.

My car clocked around 650KM from Thursday till now, city driving only hehe tongue.gif

Should be titanium bronze. So, loan agreement already signed? if yes, should left only JPJ registration, it will take 1 day. IF your car already there.
