the Mido Ti is by no means a diver watch.
Its a nice COSC certified watch. although it use ETA 2836 is it COSC grade.
are U looking for such grade? with AR and water resistance of at least 100m?
did U try looking on the 1st page?

these watches U like are like 10-20x your budget.

for the best deal shop online.

anyway, try orient, Jap made part of seiko group. else here are always Seiko5 watches
http://www.orient-watch.com/products/categ...?category_id=23
http://www.longislandwatch.com/Orient/Orient_Watches-2.htm
seiko5
http://www.pmwf.com/Watches/WATCHSALES/Sei...eSalesTable.htm

U maybe able to get citizen for that budget, but they are non hacking movement. unlike those models u saw, when U pull out the crown the second hand stops, citizen movement (with exception of 9015) will continue to move,

like I suggested to alfredfx, try Christopher ward nearly new can get for around rm$600 for a swiss made auto. stocks run out pretty quick, u need to check in freq to get a bargain. unfortunately C3 Malvern Chronograph is a swiss quartz and price is at rm$500. the auto C5 (white dial I think U like white dial) still in stock and is going for 635.
nice thing about it is 60.60 return and warranty policy.

This is a nice BIG diving watch with day/date: Orient CEM75001B

http://www.orient-watch.com/products/categ...?category_id=38

Entire story here

Pic: The 75001B's little brother, just to get an idea.

Good thing is you can get it serviced/repaired at your nearest Orient dealer. It shouldn't cost an arm and leg too.

44mm is huge. Should be just right!

the difference is just the date wheel. U may wanna read the below
http://www.watchtime.at/archive/wt_2002_06...profile_eta.pdf
http://www.watchtime.at/archive/wt_2002_06...est_eta2892.pdf
http://www.watchtime.at/archive/wt_2008_06...2008_06_148.pdf
http://www.watchtime.at/archive/wt_2007_05...2007_05_066.pdf

the price, should be close to whats listed. iirc Mido use top grade ETA movements.
http://www.bodying.my/mido-watches-m8340-8...1/watches/23033

just found this longines site with their official list price.
http://shop.us.longines.com/longines-colle.../l36444566.html

I like to look at the movement, with most divers watches the back are covered. depends what U looking for, with this budget 3-4K want brand and value for money Longines is a safe bet. Mido if U want COSC movements. Want more watch and value for $$, can go with brands like mkiiwatches.com or Guinand.

This Frederique Constant Highlife Calendar Moon auto also good buy

damm, cant make decision between this two watches, thinking to take NNC5SST because of sharpness, and NNC5SWT because of the beige colour looks good too. maybe depend on which watch will have stock then i just grab it. is they keep having stock? because worry need to wait for a long time for the watch. if need to wait for a long time might consider the new watch with adding roughly RM200.

NNC5SST
NNC5SWT
