Tempest vs Upeno.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zA1xWB4EWYU

Tempest, Upeno, Baba and Bobo are the largest T-Bha from HK.

Thanks for the video. both of them look huge! For me, Tempest is the best. He having a pair of thick arm. And very active and young. It remind me about my First king when i was kid. i feed my first king for a long record time 5 months plus. at the end it dont wan to eat and die.... cry.gif may be too old if keep for 5 months plus?

Hi hamkahchan, i do share your sentiments and thanks for the kind words for Tempest. He is one of my favourite T.Bha male for sure, didn't lose to any other FS if i'm not wrong. A pity i didnt keep him long enough, only for roughly a month's time which is far too short! Hey you are really excellent to have kept your Ex-First King for 5 months!!?? A record that most of us here couldn't even get close to, lol.. thumbup.gif

Yes, Tempest did not lose any fight, even against a few of the H spiders.

Something to check with you, Bro Ura. Am I right that Baba and Bobo are the same batch as Tempest and Apeno?

And yes, you should have kept Tempest a bit longer so as to challenge Baba and Bobo too.

Baba and Bobo were caught in Mar 2012, whereas Tempest and Apeno were caught in Dec 2011.
Too far apart to get them to challenge, a FS's prime only last very very short.
Can't really know if it is a decently fair match to fight 2 males of different periods.

Time really flies, a year's time has passed in a blink of eye and now it is almost time for HK kakis to enjoy their annual T.Sub Males season.. rclxms.gif

Thanks for the info, Ura. Pardon me if my memory fail. Uncle Kim found Apeno at the spot near to where you found Tempest. And Uncle Kim made another trip to HK in March?

From your own trips to HK, is T-Sub more abundant than T-Bha? HK kakis never interested in T-Bha? Could the T-sub and T-Bha seasons be different?

Yes, they were caught at the same area bearing some insignificant almost-flattened lily plant patches.
Mar, Uncle Kim went again, but that time i couldn't join him. T.Bha is really in abundance, not really for T.Sub.
I only realized this on my previous trip in 2012. HK kakis majority play T.Sub, T.Bha not so much but still there're T.Bha fans there.
Definitely different seasonal periods, as for T.Bha season, you can try Mar to May 2014, should be good.. thumbup.gif

Fyi: HK T.Bha fans do like our SG/Msia T.Bha Males very much.. biggrin.gif

yes. 5 months is my best record.. normally i can keep FS around 2-3 months only if i put them in containter. when i found the FS's colour become darker ,not very active , move slowly, can not stand stable on the floor or turn become a weak chopster, i will release them at plants beside my house so that they can live at nature wild environment. of course i find them a good nest for stay so tht i can easy found them back. everyday i throw food like small spider or mosquito in their nest as food. i think let them live at natural wild environment to 吸收阳光和雾水 is the best way to keep them live long... but the problem is after a short period as 1-2 week they will move house and getting disappear from the nest. sad.gif

Five months is really long. Your first king remains as first king for five months? That's impressive too.

I possibly kept spiders for 2-3 weeks.

Anyone in contact with Randy? Checking his channel, his last video is three months ago. Mojo is also MIA for quite some time.

Hi Mojo2011, good to hear from you.

Yes. Rudy's Red Devil is very special. Rudy also has a top normal T-Bha at that same = One-piece.

T.Sub Male face is not white, slightly hairy though. Generally black face.

Here's a pic of it:

That T.Sub Male is extremely rare to get. Probably only produced 1-2 in a year's time.
He is Enigma, caught by our Golden Hands Yuda, the former Spider King in this forum.

I have written the T.Sub hunting adventure in a blog, pls take a look too:

Can't remember. Was Enigma bought back to SG? Is it the largest T-sub to date? Have HK kakis caught a bigger T-sub?
Something to ask too - in catching T-sub, do you guys see T-bha too?

Do you know this guy, Ura? http://www.youtube.com/user/9319533/videos . It seems that he has a "big" T-sub spider farm.

Yes it was brought back to SG in Oct 2012. Certainly Largest ever T.Sub Male brought back to SG.
But in HK, 10mm T.Sub Males were caught before in 2011 and earlier. Yet to see a 11mm T.Sub Male though.. drool.gif
That time we went for T.Sub so there weren't any T.Bha adults around, all still young.

That youtube guy i don't know him personally, but Xarms knows him. He is very professional in his setup and videoing the clips.
