This one looks like 'buay steady' fight to me lol
Interesting to see some non-living spider stuff.

Brown Thiania update
Dan Lam to me
Oct 9
The brown Thiania are mostly fully grown now. It's interesting that
the males look quite similar to T. bha, other than the extra blue
strips, especially on the legs. Looks very much like Cam. Not
surprised if they're the same species. The claws of the males are
skinny. The females though, however, vary from light brown to black
(almost like T-bha female).
The sizes are smaller than T. bha. I guess you can't cheat genetics.
Compared to the documentation done by Urahinuk, these brown Thiania do
not have the same number of moults to get to adulthood. The T. sub
had 7-8 moults to adulthood, the brown Thiania only had 5. It
explains the size differences between Thiania species.
Maybe they're still pretty young but I find the total lack of
aggression mindboggling. They would fight each other when they were
babies but now no angry face...just a nonchalant acknowledgment of
each other. Or perhaps growing up in isolation in a mostly darkened
room has changed their behaviour.

Very interesting that you manage to raise them up successfully.
Permission to repost ur email in lowyat?
Did you raise them together or individually. If raised together, it is almost guaranteed they will be 'selamba' with each other. But it would be strange if they were raised individually.
Yeah, the number of moults determine the size. Imagine having the secret to force moulting.... it's like giving growth hormones....
How many of them do you have now?

Yeah you can post my findings.
The funny thing is, I think this is similar to your Hyllus
observation. The spiders that grow up the fastest may not be the
biggest. We'd like to think of the faster growers will be the
"dominant" because they can eat bigger food the fastest, but it's not
true in reality. I just had a late moult of a female last week and
it's the biggest female that I have now. It's the size of a female T.
bha.
Unfortunately, for whatever reason, the yield of males are down. I
had 4 males and 2 quickly died (as adults) so I'm down to 2 males.
Only 1 male looked kinda normal. The rest had big round stomachs.
We'll see if there are any more late moults that are males. I suspect
I may get 1-2 more.
