I cue my songs 2 bars before the break for edm songs and 1 bar before the break for commercial songs. Makes it easy to mix. Sometimes I put 2 cue points 2 bars and 1 bar in case i miss, but it tends to make me look like i'm panicking to mix haha.

You gotta invest to get the returns. My first investment was a RM350 head phones and started from there.

I was looking at the KRK Rockit 5 or the Reloop Wave 5 as well.

My friend is currently aiming for the Pioneer S-DJ08s. According to reviews they are a solid choice for studio/DJ speakers, good bass response with added speaker-EQ which you can turn off for production work. Reviews also said it's built durable and heavy, costs USD800 at retail price. Possibly cheaper at the store, but he's looking around still for it here in Msia.

There are many choices for DJing software today. Serato, VDJ, Mixxx, Mixvibes CrossDJ, and so on. Just google and you'll find them Personally prefer Traktor for the interface and the FX

When u use CDJ with traktor scratch.no delay ar?? cause i try to setup with CDJ 800mk2.kinda delay when u want play cue etc2.

think got something to do with your latency. I remember you could set it last time.

latency huh. never delay for me when using old CDJ like 1000MK2 .. but i think u need to update the version..
