Yesterday I received a courier parcel from Alliance Bank, containing FIFA World Cup merchandise - two bags and a cap. I was supposedly one of the winners for Garmin Nuvi navigational device. But they sent me FIFA World Cup merchandise instead.

I don't even bother to apply for CL increase from MBB as I know the chance is pretty slim. So far I satisfy with whatever amount that is being offered to both CC from MBB. One from MBB conventional banking and the other is from MBB Islamic banking. Both are using separate CL.

Please don't suggest, encourage or practise illegal or abusive usage of CC in this thread. The mod is monitoring. Thank you.

The chance of getting approved for high limits is to submit payslip that has change in base pay (increment for instance).

my friend told me that Citibank does increase your CL automatically if you have good payment, and that's like after 3 month he used it.
*
DA automatically increases my limit even though I rarely use that card.

This year I used it for BT only. blush.gif

if you're using CIMBClicks to pay DA bill, I believe one should use 3rd Party Fund Transfer instead of the Pay Bills menu.

Hi,

would like to ask, i've been using the maybank visa petronas ikhwan for two months now, today when i checked my statement via m2u, it showed (dated on 22nd July):

SERVICE TAX - PRINCIPAL       RM50.00

Is that the suppose-to-be government tax that been charged annually? Thanks smile.gif
*
Yes it is.

It can be done thru "Transfer Funds to My CIMB Accounts" to any of your active saving/current accounts and credit card accounts.
*
You're correct. Sorry that I'm confused because I use another CIMBClicks account to pay my DA bills and that's why I need to use "To Other CIMB Accounts" under Transfer Funds.

Finally Maybank has something similar to CIMB i.pay plan called Maybank EzyPay Plus:

I rather use eon bank it just only paid one time handle fees, no interest rate per year.
*
Even CIMB i.Pay Plan charges for up-front one-time fee:

10-months ---> 2%
20-months ---> 4%
30-months ---> 5%

URL: http://www.directaccess.com.my/index.php?c...412&tpt=cimb_da

If I really desperate, I just charge everything to my MBB and BT to my CIMB DA. rclxms.gif

Besides the Smart Flexi-Pay Plan, the BT is prolly one of the best feature of CIMB cards  rclxms.gif
*
Smart Flexi-Pay Plan is limited to certain type of transactions like medical, insurance and education.

i.Pay Plan is a more general plan.

BT has been improved to offer 12-month tenure.

CIMB is getting more and more competitive nowadays.
