Yeah but tyre honestly also hard to claim, because frankly our roads here in Malaysia is riddled with potholes. Have to always manouvre around. Somemore I am running on 19", it is really shocking!

Yeah. My old e46 had gone thru so much problems with tires. Seriously it's nightmare to maintain 19 low profile tires..

I always wonder how the heck those ppl can maintain a 20" or even bigger ones in kl.

Yeah. It's quite pain in the arse. My old e46 always have abs indicator suddenly appear then went off.

Send to garage it's about the sensor is having problem. The garage say is fine. Just replace the sensor. Forgotten how much but didnt cost a bomb.

So better get it replaced or check. U won't know it's abs faulty or just sensor. But it's better to get it check and assured before doing long journey.

The car is so old so no matter how good it is, eventually there would be wear/tear parts that has to be replaced. This logic would apply to all cars and mechanical products, makes sense? smile.gif Therefore if you want to buy a used car that is too old, please be prepared unless the previous owner is very good at taking care of his car and routinely replace all the parts of the car.

Hahaha. My 2001 e46 325i

1. Valve crack and water went in. Repaired 13k and some replacement of engine parts.
2. Abs sensor faulty.
3. One thing water from radiator all got leaked out. Send to check but no problem. Happened once. Then didnt happen again.
4. Gearbox kong replaced 8k
5. other minor things like electronic malfunction, lights refused to off, air cond didnt turn off even I off it. Car audio volume sometimes loud then sometimes soft.

I sold if off during 2009.

Its actually a sorta like a sequential manual where it has a clutch but no clutch pedals. Quite prone to breakdowns. Just do a google search and you can find number of cases. My friend had his replaced as well (under warranty at the time) but it took a long time to get the parts in from Germany.

I have just recently bought the asymmetric 2 for my mr2. I haven't really gotten to test em but so far they seem ok.

The reviews for them are pretty good as well

which michelin's are you comparing them too though?

Actually I just want to compare the Asymmetric to something that is reputable, i.e. performance tyres. My tyre is going to due soon so need to buy something sad.gif
