Wait... every time u guys say lag i thought its the same for me but d/l map takes 1hr ? What map are u guys d/ling ? It always takes me 2-4 mins for a map. This is weird.

terran = mmm

zerg = roach/hydra

protoss = sentry/immortal/stalker

boring

I know a friend of mine who won all 5 placement match is getting pawned a lot in Platinium now.

Not a fan of smurfing,to be honest. I want to play with better players so that i can improve.

If you look at the Hotkeys Configuration, there are Heroes and Inventory in the game.Just that it's not in the beta now, i assumed. I doubt DotA gonna come back to SC2,as Icefrog is in Valve now and there are tonnes of MOBA games like HoN, DotA(WC3), Demigod, LoL and not to forget Valve's one.

After watching Idra's Zerg, im getting a good idea how to play Zerg now. Terran is the problem.

Other than MMM, is there any other build for Terran? Reaper Rush? MM+ Hellion,then Siege? Thor + Marauder? Tried to do Viking + Banshee,but got pawned badly. Who's VoD do you recommend me to watch for Terran? I know WhiteRa is for Protoss(and his playstyle fits my style), and Idra for Zerg.

The thing that make me fall into Cooper League is because of my foolishness of playing Random on Ranked straight away when i got the Beta.Almost every Terran or Zerg game got pawned because i dont know what to do. Im doing well with Protoss so far,though. Learning how to do WhiteRa's 4 Warp Gate rush. Been pawning them so far,as everyone in Cooper wants to rush Broodlord/Voidray/Carrier/Battlecruiser or just wall themselves up.

Now, i need a few more BOs that is similar to 4 Warp Gate rush for Terran and Zerg.

The other terran build order will be ThorShip build ... but very seldom see that edy

Not really, some really creative BOs has come out recently.

Like the silly Queen Rush.

thats for people in the copper/bronze/silver leagues. yes, static boring strats. dont get you far in sc2 TBH

im in silver/gold (2v2 plat with aftersteps, though id say we're gonna drop really soon )
and i can assure you, my BO/units etc changes games after games.

I think he still have the impression of the early Beta where the balance was quite bad that made Roach,MMM and Stalker/Sentry blob are probably the only variable BO.

Balance has improved a lot,IMO,to promote different BOs each game.

Been changing mine for each game now,as certain things like going robo or Stargate are quite situational.

and if ur not a fan of smurfing, sc2's system is pretty 'perfect'.

for terran, other than MMM, theres always mechanized builds, air builds or mixups to play with. the recent terran replays showed quite a lot of insights and how-to's along with its inherited flaws etc etc. as for helions, unless ur micro is DAMN GOOD, and can get em in reaper speeds etc and you're NOT facing terran, forget it. the only use i can think of for them is worker rape via aoe + range/fast speeds. OR, if enemy is running melees like zealot/zerglings (also, not terran rofl)

for VODs, i know theres a lot of tarson playing terran, and some TLO i guess... day9 did a good cover on terran doing non MMM builds with a terran vs terran mirror and both going different builds (do watch that if you hate MMM like i do lol)

also, you in copper isnt entirely due to random/dc. lets say ur in ur perfect line condition/playing only protoss, the max youd be would be around silver (i would assume/estimate) even if ur placed in plat by winning all 5. do note, even if you win ALL 5 games it may not place you in plat as the placement also uses other factors to determine ur placing. i know this for a fact that ive played with other LYN player in 2v2 and we won all 5 games and still place into gold.

put it this way: good players, know the game inside out, and while he may not play random, he would know/understand all races like the back of his hand. (for a good reason to) You atm are weak on terran/zerg as you pointed out yourself. lets say you play protoss and you face say, terran/zerg, would you have ALL possible scenarios going through your head during game loading/as game progress and have a solution/answer for all of them when your game start/progress through?

like i said, if you're really good, you'd be moved to avoid noob stomping as the system is meant sole for one thing: putting people where they belong and everyone can have a great time (and challenge, like you wanted)
