I think he still have the impression of the early Beta where the balance was quite bad that made Roach,MMM and Stalker/Sentry blob are probably the only variable BO.

Balance has improved a lot,IMO,to promote different BOs each game.

Been changing mine for each game now,as certain things like going robo or Stargate are quite situational.

Nope .. when u pre-order the game from Amazon and then Amazon will give u a beta-key.

Not really, usually pre-order can be cancelled but for SC2, once u activate the beta key that Amazon gives u upon pre-ordering, i dun thk the pre-order can be cancelled.

Battle.net have to play how much r?

There are still no official news about SC2 to be charged monthly, IINM.

You CAN cancel your pre-order from Amazon after u activate the key. I have done it for my friend and had no issues or whatsoever cancelling the order. I didnt get charged a single cent doing that.

For those who need a beta key, go to amazon.de and do it just like how I did. You will find babelfish very handy though while browsing that website.
