Many ppl hooked their Mac with a Dell U2311H monitor.. Just search on google. Im not sure if you need drivers or not but most monitors should be plug and play.... Just need to change a little settings on the macbook and it should be usable

Apple iMac newbie here.
Looking to get the new RM 3,799.00 iMac.
Few question :

1.If i want to upgrade the Ram, can i just buy the Ram off any lowyat store and plug it in?

2.How about Hard Disk Upgrade? Is it easily upgradeable ?

this is not the topic to ask on upgrade.

1) yes, so long they are compatible.
2) it will be very difficult.

no because u need to buy a flight ticket to buy from apple store tongue.gif

in malaysia only got apple resellers and online store

well there's a lot of college students including myself using a mac, so yes. a better question would be if it's suitable for YOUR course. and u can seek the best answer by asking ur seniors. but then im an engineering student n need a lot of windows-only programs, i do just fine

It's totally worth it to get iMac now because apple just recently refresh them. Future iMac refresh should be 8 to 12 months from now.

Hi, Shifu!

I got a 30" Apple Cinema from US and brought back to Malaysia. When I wanted to on it, my friend stopped me and said the voltage in US and Malaysia are different. He said I will burn the whole LCD. Now I am scared. He added that US is using 110 volt while Malaysia is using 220-240 volt. Is it what he said is true? I need someone who has experience it to confirm with me before I on the power. @@

Many thanks! HELP! URGENT!
