Hi, Shifu!
I got a 30" Apple Cinema from US and brought back to Malaysia. When I wanted to on it, my friend stopped me and said the voltage in US and Malaysia are different. He said I will burn the whole LCD. Now I am scared. He added that US is using 110 volt while Malaysia is using 220-240 volt. Is it what he said is true? I need someone who has experience it to confirm with me before I on the power. @@
Many thanks! HELP! URGENT!

QUOTE(wei @ May 21 2011, 12:14 AM) Most Apple product are made for international voltage (110V - 240V). Even the spec page clearly state 110V - 240V input. http://support.apple.com/kb/SP79You should check the power brick for the ACD, it should says the same, 110V - 240V. If for whatever reason yours only says 110V input. Then you need are voltage converter from 240V input to 110V output. Can find it on most electrical shop or gaming console shop. Added on May 21, 2011, 12:17 amFor the plug head you can just swap to any local power cable with fuse. It's a standard 3-pin socket found in many devices, computer PSU, printer, monitor... Thank you! I should get a voltage changer tomorrow.
