just bought a 2.5kg pack of Acana, (orijien is a bit expensive), look like my dogs love it.

i feed my puppy with a few brand before..

the first dog food i buy frm NUtrisource, currently still got more then 1/2 pack.. he doesnt want to eat it anymore..

he loves origen the most, however too much origen the poo is wet and smelly..

i try with nutriedge, at first he doesnt want to it, but after that he was okay with it...the kibbles was very small compare to origen...the poo smell reduce abit compare to other brand i try.

i received eukanuba sample and after my dog eat it, his poo smell very bad.

any other good suggestion of dog food? royal canine seem good, but d other day i wan to buy, the pet shop ppl say go preservative...

I remember once i got a sample of dog food with dry fruits inside, any idea which brand?

thanks

Now left 50%. Who want? Free but need to pick up.

Or where can i " donate" it to?

Today someone ask me which is best 6 star kibble and I proudly name a few such as holistic, acana, orijen, Innova. He ask me y and I told them it is make of real meat, salmon etc. Super good, no grain, no byproduct blah blah.

Then he ask me one mind disturbing question. He said, will u eat orijen 6 fish yourself? I said hell no. He ask me y? And I am stuck silence.

Isn't the answer quite simple? The nutritional profile of dog food is to suit dogs not humans.

Even if this is correct, will you even take a single spoon and munch it down your throat? Just one spoon.
It doesnt do any harm to us. Will you have the confident level in this kibbel?

I cannot imagine giving something to my dogs that I don't dare to eat. That's why my dogs don't eat commercial dog food. XD But i've personally tried rawhides, munchie sticks, dog biscuits, dog jerkys, jerhighs, dog bone treats, dog food and just about anything sold for dogs. Some are just gross you'd know the quality in one bite, some so sugar-filled you can taste each sugar granules in every bite. But some of the better quality ones are seriously tasty that I'd buy just for myself to eat.

Why not? Dog food won't kill you.

It might not taste good. It might not fit human's nutritional profile. But if you're talking about just taking one spoon to try, why not?

Again, having confidence in the kibble doesn't mean you have to eat it. I mean some people believe in raw meat for their dogs. Just because you don't feel like eating raw meat doesn't mean it is bad for the dog.

ya, the breeder told me to feed her eukanuba but the poo is very smelly and since i read a lot of ppl here say eukanuba and pro plan is not good, wanted to change a better dog food for her, since both of the food r also expensive, i am not going to let my dog eat crap food.. might as well spend the same amount of money on something better for her... smile.gif

Then you should try Innova for puppy. U can also try Orijen but higher protein. Innova RM50+ for 2.7 KGS.
