I use Innova Feeding calculator. What do you think.. My Beagle puppy weight about 2.1 kgs.
I found out that i need to feed daily
7/8 Cups or 100.34 g. If converted to tablespoon will be 14 tablespoon a day. Seems like underfeed my puppies as i only fed him 6 chinese soup spoon per day.
From today onwards will feed him 3 times as below.
7am - 5 tablespoon 12pm - 5 tablespoon 8pm - 4 tablespoon

I now gradually mixing lesser and lesser Eukaba mixed with Pro Plan. Once Eukaba phase out, i will feed purely pro plan for a week before mixing it with Inova.
After reading and understanding dog food, i will feed my puppy Beagle Innova. Once when he turn to 6 month, i will feed him adult food. Perharps Orijen 6 fish.

Added on August 12, 2011, 12:01 amthanks for the feedback, think gotta stretch my budget for my poor golden..i feed blackwood since her a puppy, no problem until a year back...look like blackwood quality is getting worst.... Innova for 2.7KG cost around RM55-RM60. You may get it at Petshop but not hypermarket. This post has been edited by adriankhoo153: Aug 12 2011, 09:59 AM

QUOTE(Calvin871989 @ Aug 13 2011, 09:10 PM) you should've ask for evo not innova. dont think any malaysia pet shops bring in innova. im feeding both my beagle and german shepherd evo. i normally now buy the Turkey & Chicken Formula (big bites) 13KG bag every month for RM212. i started on evo since day one for my beagle and then for my german shepherd, and im really happy to say that this food is by far the best dog food out there in the market along with other 6 stars dog food. ------------------ @ byaku-chan whats the brand of vitamins you give your dog ? the vitamins im giving two both my pups is call nutri-plus multivitamin gel by Virbac. ( http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/pets-accessories/v...el/1434668/#rev ) i think this vitamin is fairly ok to me since it says that its good for young rapidly growing dogs and other purpose too. i now plan to change the vitamin to a diffrent brand and focus more on bones. any suggestions on what brand of vitamins to go for for strong bones ? thanks. Petsmore do have Innova and so does my regular petshop at my place. Innova for puppy and Innova for adult dog. Thinking to switch to Orijen 6 fish once my Beagle turn adult.

QUOTE(liverpooluc @ Aug 18 2011, 10:43 AM) tks for the ideas, did u mean it is suitable for both breeds? google seach but not really to find any store in cheras selling, will check out petsmore in connaught later. 6 stars rated dog food, hope not costing me a bomb another thing is, since my terrier already used to the same food (we do prepare chicken liver n meat for her once a month), should i mix the new kibble with the existing one or switch totally to new one? thanks. You can easily get Orijen in Petsmore, Pet family and other petshop. 2.7KG gonna cost you RM70+. A lil expensive. So i suggest you to take bigger pack. If you wan a cheaper but also a good quality kibble, you can get Innova for adult which cost about RM50+. (Not Innova Evo as it's as expensive as Orijen) U need to gradually feed your terrier by mixing the new one with old one. For any switching to new kibbles, i always do in this manner. 70 old, 30 new - 5 days 50 old, 50 new - 5 days 30 old, 70 new - 5 days 100% new This post has been edited by adriankhoo153: Aug 18 2011, 02:31 PM

Today someone ask me which is best 6 star kibble and I proudly name a few such as holistic, acana, orijen, Innova. He ask me y and I told them it is make of real meat, salmon etc. Super good, no grain, no byproduct blah blah.
Then he ask me one mind disturbing question. He said, will u eat orijen 6 fish yourself? I said hell no. He ask me y? And I am stuck silence.

QUOTE(jchong @ Aug 22 2011, 08:25 PM) Isn't the answer quite simple? The nutritional profile of dog food is to suit dogs not humans. Even if this is correct, will you even take a single spoon and munch it down your throat? Just one spoon. It doesnt do any harm to us. Will you have the confident level in this kibbel? QUOTE(fada @ Aug 24 2011, 11:12 AM) ya, the breeder told me to feed her eukanuba but the poo is very smelly and since i read a lot of ppl here say eukanuba and pro plan is not good, wanted to change a better dog food for her, since both of the food r also expensive, i am not going to let my dog eat crap food.. might as well spend the same amount of money on something better for her... Then you should try Innova for puppy. U can also try Orijen but higher protein. Innova RM50+ for 2.7 KGS.

QUOTE(fada @ Aug 24 2011, 01:02 PM) Innova is good? how about the poop? smelly? orijen is how much? Innova being rated 5 star kibbles so i guess it's good. Poop doesnt smell strong but i am only feeding half cup proplan and half cup innova. Will comment once i feed him 100% Innova. Orijen is much more expensive. I think it's somewhere around Rm70+ This post has been edited by adriankhoo153: Aug 24 2011, 01:14 PM

QUOTE(fada @ Aug 24 2011, 01:21 PM) wah orijen so expensive le..... don't think can fit into my budget le will think of trying innova once the old food is nearly finishing... thanks for the advise =) Please estimate it nicely as you still need to mix with your old kibbles when giving your pup new food. U need to gradually feed your pupp by mixing the new one with old one. For any switching to new kibbles, i always do in this manner. 70 old, 30 new - 5 days 50 old, 50 new - 5 days 30 old, 70 new - 5 days 100% new

Just ordered Innova for puppy 13.5 kgs. Price is RM194. Do u think it's expensive? Last time i bought 2.7KG already cost me RM58 after discount. After calculating, the price for 2.7 kgs now cost me Rm38.8. I think quite worth to buy big pack.
