are u sure? unless u stay at the very basic chalets, perhentian is farther off the shores and kuala besut is in the mid way between kota bahru and terengganu, transportation to get there is not cheap too unless u drive.

ps: all terengganu islands discussions should be done at the existing east coast therad thanks

jc, perhentian is nearer to the shore compare to redang. It only take about 45min speed boat ride from Kuala Besut to Perhentian Kecil. Kuala Besut is about 1hour15min from Kota Bahru airport, if I remember correctly.

dun give wrong information to forumer here.perhentian is just 25km from the coast of Kuala Besut meanwhile redang is 45km from Kuala Terengganu.about the transportation i think airasia is giving the same pricing between Kota bahru and kuala terengganu.if driving u need to drive all the way to kuala besut meanwhile redang only merang which is nearer.about the accommodation perhentian can offer from budget to luxury depends on the traveller budget.i've been visiting redang every year and just wanted to give correct information to other forumer.

for me laguna redang is totally out of my choice cause it really spoilt the scenery there(if you guys visit to redang before laguna was there u know wat i mean).my home resort there is reef cause its located at one end,so its not crowded with ppl from other resort meanwhile redang beach,bay,pelangi,lagoon in the middle of pasir panjang,so you can expect crowd walk bypass your room! this year my redang trip will be at berjaya redang and maybe another trip to reef if time and $$ permited

hey i might be going to redang at around april 23-26...
i wish to know more bout the redang lang resort...the package is quite cheap and i hardly think that it will be any better than berjaya group..
it would be a college friends trip..any latest info on that resort?
like ..how's the resort,how's the beach,how's the snorkeling services they provided

whoah..9?r u sure?better check carefully because as i know..more than 4 days would cost up to 600-700..and it's quite impossible to finish 9 spot in just..3 days..

i go by bus...quite stupid but since my college mate ask for it..so i'll just follow loh..

I buy a package to lang tengah resort 3d2n (weekend / twin), Rm359 include land transfer , Rental of snorkeling equipments . But need buy bus ticket myself Expensive?

LANG TENGAH IS GREAT ISLAND!!! Better than Redang, redang coral reef all almost haf destroy one ... but Lang Tengah is surrounded with untouch of nature beauty !!!

how's the resort then?and how's their jungle trekking?it seems like nothing special for the jungle trekking for me

Actually I preferred Redang compare to Lang Tengah. I stayed at Berjaya Redang in 2001 & last yr decided to try Lang Tengah instead of Redang.

But dun take my word..probably wrong timing..I went there in mid-Mar 2006 and on the 1dt day water was crystal clear but it is not bluish just emerald water. BUT on 2nd & 3rd day, the water turned milky..& spoilt my holiday!! reason..The 2nd & 3rd day experienced strong wave!...However my package also inc snorkelling at Redang Pulau Pinang and omce there..I experience bluish crytal clear water wth abundnce of fishes at the jetty area... ....This makes me to assume that Lang Tenagh is not so good although I do agreed Lang Tengah having more lively coral....

they got 4 resort at Lang Tengah, so which one is worth and nice? The price is alomost the same....is it the best is Coconut Resort?

Just come back from Redang yesterday after 3d2n there..

for 1st timer like me i was mesmerized by the beauty of Redang.
Stayed at redang Pelangi..its not a bad resort..No issue at all from 1st day we arrive.Staff is superbly friendly Room is alright..well in my opinion,it is more than enuff for me ...what you expect ..room is for sleep n change cloth only..

The weather is really perfect.crystal clear water.managed to catch a glimpse of a couple of blacktip shark.We did rent the underwater camera from the resort..

will repeat again Redang when Mencandat sotong season is open...
