go to www.malaysiaresorts.com.my they have more attractive and cheap package

there is no official opening date...most of the resort will start their business end of feb but u have to take the risk cause there might be bad weather.

open in march, no body go in feb 1 lar

buy ticket 1st then scout for accommodation.
Accommodation early bird should be openning end of Jan

Just my opinion. Went to Pulau Redang last year on May, more like a revisit after visited there twice before. But last visit I decided to stay at Berjaya, which isolated by a private beach from other resorts. If you look for some romantic holiday accompanied with other international guess, suggest go to Berjaya, if just among friends, any resorts along Long Beach should be good enough to save your $$$.

Anyway, we went for snorkel around Redang and island hopping to Lang Tengah as well; based on my observation quality of coral is almost depleting and Marine Park just getting more dirty. And I still wonder what the authority doing with RM5 conservation charge and restriction of fin doesn't really improve the coral conservation.

I don't think Redang and Lang Tengah will be good places to go for snorkel anymore, unless you're into scuba diving or just want to enjoy the sandy white beach.

Hey guys, just wanna ask some recomendations on where to stay in Pulau Perhentian. Went to Redang last year with a bunch of friends (around 18 of us) and stayed in Redang Holliday. The place was nice but the food kinda sucked, but in the end we did have a good time there.

So, this year they wanted to go to perhentian next. I've checked around the net for places but can't really make up my mind. I really liked what I saw in TunaBay's website and Arwana seems like a good place too. On to the questions:

1) Any other places that I should look out for?
2) Is there any packages that is under Rm500 for 4d3n including transport from KL(includes snorkeling trips)

*Things to note:

- There will be at least 15+ of us(mebbe can get some discounts?)
- Will be going sometime in mid or end of May 2007
- Don't mind staying in triple or quads

do u have any rates for laguna resort in redang? btw....im planning to take air asia from kl to KT airport terminal and then from there i will take a cab or a bus to merang jetty....how much would be the price of the cab and bus from the KT airport terminal to the merang jetty? anybody knows? as for the boat i know that is would be rm80 for go and return ride.... am i missing any other surcharges besides the marine fee(Rm5)? please do help me out ....tq

Go check their website. Boat transfer usually pao already one. u just need to pay land transfer only.

i think RM30 only if not mistaken - laguna bus lar.
