Looks like a wound from rough surface or substrate. How was the previous enclosure's like?

The guy seems quite big, how much u get him for?

i dont know, the owner just left him in the lfs and ask the lfs to help her sell.

Congrats bro, i think that was quite cheap for that size. BTW i just finished moving my piggy into new temporary tank, sized 4x3x1.5'. The transition went well, from aquarium i scooped him with a net, put him in a plastic tub (the one for baby bathing, lol), brought him upstairs and there he swims in a new house

He seems ok with the new tank, taking sinking wafers rightaway after 20 minutes. I plan to keep the tank bare since we'll be moving to a new place soon.

Hi guys, bought this guy 5 years ago and it stopped growing until this size since 1-2 years ago. Any idea why?

i got one question. thought of buying star tortoise at my hometown (penang)..but how should i carry them to my work place (sabah)? can i just handcarry them into airplane? tq

No , But you can try !!

Try find locally in Sabah - easier than you think but should be more expensive !!

we human will get 耳鸣 Tinnitus...will they be ok so high above ground?

If not by air ? How do you think , they come by - cb sulcata from USA or Africa or wc radiated from Madagascar ..... or red footed from south n central America .

Or all by sea or by car driven by you ?

Yeah, these creatures are way hardier than we thought. In my case, my PNT had survived 4 days of torture when i accidentally left the tank with the electricity out (main switch turned off by lightning, and nobody home to switch it on back). It goes 4 days out of filter, out of aeration. 8 of my fishes died in the occation, the water all cloudy and hell smelly, even had oil layers on the water surface.

I was so grateful that Fly survived the terrible accident

Wow what a survivor !! Glad he made it .

Thanks.. when i recalled about the moment, it was his survival that cures my sadness for the whole tank's lost. I have this thought that if i lose him, i may never find any other PNT.. or at least any PNT below rm500 price tag
