I'll let hackcremo and verdanglite to answer that question since they are using it
Basically, no overheating, will still reach 70-80C++ while gaming, still acceptable... |

Hi, I am a new A42Jv user, I was wondering how can I make use of the Nvidia Optimus technology to maximum my battery life??? So far the best I can get under battery saving mode is only 3hours+, is this normal?? I thought it could last longer..

hmm , may be u can try the power 4 gear battery saving mode , it will be effective , beside , if u are using to watch movie , listen song or surf web , even in battery saving mode , maximum will be around 2 hour then u need to recharge battery

That's why I hope Nvidia comes back with both types in the Optimus package.. automatic and manual switching.. For some reason I think i'd prefer manual switching......
