Ya, I see already, but I want to know how well it handles heat when in use. I don't want to buy and then when I leave it on 24/7 with ceiling fan off the dvd burner mati and cannot burn anymore like with my U80V

share a website that can check your laptop system information whether match the game requirement or not~
but not 100% accurate lo~

oh ya, one point to be added, just wonder why after install the new driver, my window experience index for graphic drop from 5.1 to 5.0 lo~

They say CCC 10.5 had no improvement whatsoever from the previous drivers over in the ATI discussion thread.

Hi, im a freelance 3d animator and this is my first time purchasing a laptop and am looking for a laptop for 3d animation usage.

1) Will the A42JK or A42JR be good enough for it?
2) Is there any other laptop around the same budget as this model worth buying for animation? budget size (3000-4000)
3) Regarding the graphic card, does this still come with ATI HD 5470 or better?
4) How accurate is the colors on the monitor?
4) The 15 inch model still available?
Am a noob when it comes to laptops, appreciate all your feedbacks

now, only a42jk available in the market cause of end of lifetime for Jr series.. cry.gif

so, that's means that the hd5470 now not in the a42jk that have been replaced with hd5145 that is equal performance with hd5470 without Directx 11 capability.. sweat.gif

the monitor display is HD/LED backlight screen.. so you know the performance of HD screen.. thumbup.gif

yes, there is 15" screen for this model a52jk.. same machine.. but you have other option than Asus brand..

maybe this link can help you choose your new notebook according to your budget:
