its actually a42jk.. bought for almost 3k wif added 2gb ram..

better use CPU-Z and Gpu-z to check your spec of your notebook.. FYI. hd5145 is update version from hd4570.


This is A series.. The spec is the same with K series,but the body design is differnt..

oohh icic.. i tot 5470 is the updated version of 4570.. lol..

HD5470 is a new card..

the performance can categorize as equal with hd5145 but the hd5470 is support directx 11 and hd5145 not support directx 11.

Basically the updated HD4570 is the HD5145.

HD5470 is in the same league fo performance but is made on the new Evergreen line of die.

So 40nm with DX11 support while the 5145 only has DX 10.1.

can help me check whether A42JK come with 5145 or 5170

New owner of A42Jk (i5 430M) here. I juz bought it for RM2.7k ++ last week . Im quite satisfy right now so far no problem.

anyone hving problems wif the card reader? my microsd adapter appears to stuck in it already.. =.=

The inspiron 14R is slightly better, but doubt you would see any differences in real usage...

omg. i bought A42J (i3) for 2.7k yesterday !! cheated !!

and.. is anyone having problems with the sound system.. the sound quality seems to be quite bad as it's not loud and also the quality is not good. Compared with my previous HP pavilion altec lansing speakers.

In johor. I should have waited till im back to KL this weekend to buy! i tot the price wont be of much difference.

But they gave me a swissgear backpack which they claimed that it cost RM159. but i rather not have the bag !! *sobs*

2.6k for i3...all model com wif pre-loaded genuine windows7(64bit)...the speaker volume is not loud enuf for dis model la i think...
