hi , greeting to all sifus. I'm planning to get a new D90 in next two days. I'm newbie with limited budget (<4k) , hence require advices from you all.
a) Is the original D90 come with international warranty? I've call up Nikonian & they told me their product is under international warranty. I prefer international warranty as going abroad in next 2 month. b.) which lense should I choose? 18-105mm kit lense or 35mm /f1.8 if I prefer to shoot people in the natural scene? c.) Assume that the body + lens cost abt 3.3k, i still got 600++ to spend with remaining stuffs. What else should I get? - Phottix Titan Premium Series EN-EL3e battery ? is it recommended or should i get Nikon original? - What brand of UV filter should i get? - Others? Many thanks! Have a nice day! |

QUOTE(freddy manson @ May 21 2010, 01:01 AM) if u're just starting then 50mm isnt long enuff.. 105mm F5.6?u can try the kitlens.. dont worry lenses' price doesnt drop down so fast.. instead of going for the specs, why not learn all the technique first, right? f8 at 105mm gives a nice bokeh i tell u.. providing u got the right setup of subject - background sigma 17-70 f2.8-5.6 kah u mean? or the new 17-50 (is it here already?) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

Thanks for the prompt reply. So i better go for the standard kit lense , uv filter & additional battery only. I seldom take indoor photography so
not really need a flashgun. QUOTE(SkyBlue99 @ May 22 2010, 01:01 AM) |

actually if u shoot from morning - late better u get extra sd card... 4gb sd card will only hold 200+ raw files... long before you even exhaust one battery charge...
for the extra 600 you can either invest it in battery + sd card -or- invest in nissin di622 flash gun -or- invest in 50mm f/1.8d This post has been edited by SoLiD: May 22 2010, 02:48 PM |

haha...not kepo le
old lense Sigma 28-105mm f2.8 and want me to get 35mm / f1.8 instead of the standard 18-105mm kit lense. Is it a good idea? the 18 - 105mm serves same function as the 28 - 105mm? Thanks again! QUOTE(SkyBlue99 @ May 22 2010, 02:11 PM) |

Any recommendation about which macro lens I should go for? Using the kit lens now, 18-105.
