hey guys, now the polarising filter 77mm for hoya or kenko is how much? They said kenko and hoya is the same company, so they both have same quality. Is that true? And the ND filter get which brand better? and how much is it for now?

Ya, same company. And they have a lot of grades. Hoya Pro1 is better than those normal one and Hoya HD is the best grade.

ND filter got many good brands as well. Heliopan, Hoya and B+W also got. So far most popular out there is B+W if not mistaken, but of course it cost a lot.

i think some of u were asking whether to use the sb900/sb800 original diffuser a few post back.

lemme give my 2 cents based on my experience. when in a hall and u're pointing the flash upwards to bounce from the ceiling, it's best not to use diffuser if u want even lighting with no shadows. using diffuser will send some light forward, causing the shadows.

however, the diffuser might help in diffusing the light a bit if u were to point it forward aka direct flash.
those demb flash diffuser works differently than the stock diffuser. the demb flash diffuser works by sending light upwards to bounce but also reflecting a bit forward to light ur subject. it gives ur subject a bit of brighter illumination and also some catch-light in the eyes.

any comments on this? right or wrong?

Yes, that is how the Demb works, you get catch light and nicely diffused light from the front through the diffuser.

well thats what DC magazine says rclxms.gif
but what can we complain by compairing the price of 1 sb900 for almost the price of 2 nissin di866 ?
Some people just wonder, does it means di866 not so yau yeng ? better buy sb600 look more yau yeng?
Just tell people that u can spend but try to spend wisely.
Money is always an issue, if no issue can buy without asking for discount lor doh.gif

I was thinking like u too last time but after consider liao, i go for nissin first
Maybe will get sb900 if i get serious with the CLS stuff because i need more than 2 flash in the future
for me, only those who go for brands would choose sb600 instead od di866
because both same price and different category ( Beginner/ Pro ) line

My plan was to stick to SB900, and get another unit when the successor of SB900 is released (probably not so soon I guess).
