For those who have overweight problems or is not satisfied with some parts of your body (normally is parts like tummy, hips, tigh etc.) can you please share your experience? Do you take any steps to improve yourself such as going to slimming centre. If yes, which slimming centre you go and is there any good result? how much you have spend to obtain the result?

I have big body structure, big thighs, big legs, big arms, big and round tummy. but i take pride in my own body..maybe it aint perfect, but i think liking urself is the best way. most women i know are andwill never be satisfied with their own body regardless how skinny they are anyway. try swimming if u reli wan to get into good shape.

Being intro to do slimming trial while i'm doing facial in a beauty saloon. dislike it and quit halfway cos they pandai talk only but that was few years ago.

Tried few slimming product b4. Did lost a lot of weight BUT, there will be bad effect to your health and skin problem. 1st CELLULITE EVERYWHERE because of the rapid weight reduce. Also happen to rapid growth too (body builder, etc). Hormone imbalance causing mood swing, like when u're in period state except that this is not just limited to 7 days only tongue.gif. Might lead to liver or kidney problem if not done correctly, google them urself.

Now dieting and working out. Been replacing my lunch with oatmeal and cereal bars for almost a month and reducing my food intake. It does work. I've been speed walking/jogging for almost a month too(but a bit slacking now due to my stressful work, overslept and missed my workout time in the early morning). Body toned abis abis XD Many of my friends and colleagues notice the difference and kinda inspire my lady boss and few of my female colleagues to do some slimming too.. lol

getting in shape feels more agile and not so clumsy when doing things. further more overweight can lead to many health disease. however i oso do not like those already skinny then still say wan to loose weight la...

i do believe that a balance diet and working out is the healthiest and also effective way to loose weight. but if you have been working 8hrs a day come back from work, after the jam, u reach home already 7pm. do not mention the time to work out but to think of working out already draining out the last energy u have. maybe can try control food intake la... but just thinking any other better and more convenient way???

i work out at 6am, max 30min currently because I nvr exercise before since I'm a kid! I feel more energise when go to work. My work hour starts from 830 am and until 530 or sometimes until 11pm :Þ

u can always find some light exercise that you can do in office though, google it. i'll do some stretching whenever i'm able to move around my office. i mean when no one is notice la, lol.

diet control can enhance ur weight lose (^__^)b

i was 92, now 78, but of course with help from slimming product at 1st lo d(^_________________^)b

don't fall for slimming products. never trusted them and never will try. it just meant to earn money from its victims. girls nid to be realistic enuf when it comes to losing weight. thats my personal opinions. i did not disagree with working out.
working out on bed (sex) is definitely a good way to burn calories. it's the second work out which burn the most fat with swimming being the first one. lol. sex can tone up body way faster and effective than any other form of exercises, somemore its pleasurable and improves overall health (if done safely). slimming down just requires more patient and being happy can lose weight too. thus, i say, being happy with urself breeds better mind and self-image (no matter what size u r ), thus increasing the level of endorphins and reduce stress (which remain the main cause of ppl rapidly putting on weight). plus, i think ppl who gained weight once entering a relationship isn't a bad thing rite? it shows that they r happy, with themselves, their life, their partner.

don't use slimming products. one way or another, there will be side effects.

best, exercise or sexercise. some might say too much sex will cause weight gain, but truth, sex is another cardio exercise. how could u gain weight unless u're gaining muscle (which would be weird).

i realized too that many gain weight in relationships, but those i've seen gain weight because their partner's feeding them. LOL~

u can lose as many weights as u want in instant so long as u have the money. but will it last? are u sure u will not gain anymore after reaching the target? are u sure u will feel happier and healthier? sometimes, i think keeping in shape shud be a habit not just a temporary journey to reach ur targeted weight. slimming centre n medicine are bullshits. only traditional balanced diet, healthy lifestyle, and exercises help in long term successful weight lost. somemore using the term weight is so wrong. someone might weight heavier than another person but not look as heavy because of the muscles she carries. more muscles means heavier weight. u can't just let ppl judge ur value from the weighing scale. when coming to lose weight, ppl wan fast and instant like 2 to 5 kg per week which is bull cus eventually they'd gained back what they lose. what's more important is looking for ways which give long lasting effect. it's patient. not hurry and short cuts.

those get fat after getting relationship mayb they eat a lot la. u know, hang out with bf, go travel, eat this and that tongue.gif

Agree with that. Aside from that, most exercise will burden your joints, especially if you're overweight and it'll be bad for your joints as they are forced to support extra weights. When you're swimming, the water helps support your body's weight and... playing in the water is fun!!

Best way to lose weight is through a healthy lifestyle and exercise. Results don't come that fast, but you won't lose your new-found figure fast too, and there are no side effects. =D

yes its a good way to be healthy...

Yeah, those days when I was younger, I never like the way I look. But now I am happy with they way I look. Well, I may not look like supermodel but at least I can still wear my old baju from 8 years back. I keep fit by doing a lot of walking and taking stairs instead of elevator. Go for joggin or walking with my husband at the park near our apartment area.

I take care of what I eat. No dieting but balancing my meals.

exercise and good eating habit are the best way leading to healthier weight and life.

many ppl think they can eat as much as they want as long as they worked out 2-3 hours later. lol.

healthy eating habit and exercise really go hand-in-hand.

there are 3 days in a week i have work until 9pm; hence i have no time to workout during those days. but other days, i can workout, i will workout 20mins to 1 hour depending on how hardworking and motivated i am on that day.

if i am lazy, i force myself to workout 20mins.. if i am motivated especially if i have skipped for 2 days or so, i will workout from 40mins to 1 hour.

i have cut out carb, which is rice during dinner. i eat only vege and meat for dinner. rice will be during lunch. breakfast.. love breakfast.. sandwich or oatmeal.

one thing, my bad eating habit is chips. haha! if i can kick that off.. i think i will be more successful. lol. i don't eat fast foods or drink carbonated drink.. but just potato chips. sigh~! one pack of chips contain as much as 500+ kcal. sigh~! high in sodium plus MSG too.

i eat fruits too but not too much because fruits are high in sugar.. banana high in calorie.. about 100kcal per banana.

i have started 6 months ago and i have lost about 10kgs up to date.

from 74kg to 64kg but now back to 65kg. wish to break off that 65 point.

Greetings!
I would like to share my personal experiences with some of the slimming centre.Noticed that this is the latest thread,so i would post it here.
Recently i came across an 11th anniversary promotion from Cenosis,which costs about RM388 with 11% discount.
I thought of giving it a try but before that, i would also like to find out more about it. So i decided to walk in to the branch in Mid Valley.Of cos i did call up and inquire before i walk in, thought i could find out more but failed, they actually insisted me to visit to their centre to have even clearer understanding of this slimming packages and so on.
So that day, i walked in and was greeted by a consultant, whom i believe she should be the one spoken on the phone with me the other day.
So as usual, i had my body analysis done and proceeded with an 1on1 consultation with the same consultant.
After a round of explanation on my condition, here comes the part where most of the customer would be highly interested of hearing, cos this is how i would call it,investment!The 1st price i heard was RM9090 (i wasn't surprise), then down to 2k++ then 1k++. And she popped up a BIG question : How much would u be willing to spend on this slimming in a month? Whoa!Honestly,i really have no idea if u ask me.So of cos, i replied her : Honestly, i can't tell u the exact figure, but what i can tell u is, i came here today not with the intention of splurging.
She went on and tell me that most of her customers would spend from RM200-RM250 in a month. And she even told me, they will only get commission after their customer successfully lost inches or weight loss.Hmm...I doubt that?Not sure if this is true, would like to hear more if any of u here have some insights on this.
And then, i told her i don't think i would spend more than 1k on this as my intention is just to try out the promotion. She went on saying, if u really want to see result, you should go for the 2k+ package, she emphasized that it is considered really cheap.I kinda remain silent.Then,she asked me if i had any credit card, i said yes but i don't have enough credit to swipe for this.I'm not sure how much i left, but she insisted me to try swiping it to see if it's through!Oh Lord!I started to get annoyed!She even suggested me to pay half with credit card and another half with debit card as if i'm really going to sign up for the 2k+ package!And then,she came out with the vouchers which she claimed that i could use it for cash voucher and get instant deduction from the 2k+ package.If i don't sign up today, the vouchers will be burned, which means i won't be getting the vouchers if i sign up later. She sounded pushy! Finally,i said to her : let me go back and think about it. Immediately, i could see her face changed, obviously she wasn't happy with my answer.
And then, she said something rather sarcastic which is the reason that changes my mind of signing up for the promotion!
She said : Actually are u really genuine to slim down? U seem like no heart to slim down. << I was like WHOA!
What surprises me is, at last, she asked me to take the promotion package instead knowing that she has failed talking me into the few thousands packages.Lolx!Which i did not, cos she has already turned me off!The only thing i wanted to do at that moment is to get myself out of here as soon as i could!
I came to know that, she actually has plan to nail down every potential customer to close the deal with her!
Well, i did not know that it is a MUST to sign up for the slimming package on the spot right after consultation?! I believe as a customer, i have the rights to inquire, i have the right to decide whether i'm going to sign up or not! Don't i have a say in this?!
Honestly, if she has been nice, i would have taken the promo package already.
Well, i do appreciate her consultation session, but i certainly don't buy the u-must-sign-up-the-package-right-on-the-spot attitude!
Anyways,just to let u all know,i ain't overweight neither do i have serious weight problem.I'm just unsatisfied with few areas of my body and also,i just want to lose few kgs.
Lastly, thanks for taking time and read this as i know it's not short. =p
And also, if any of u know any slimming centre with good results + reasonable price range and i appreciate consultant with genuine and friendly attitude.
