I honestly believe all slimming centers are in fact scams, the consultants are trained to hard sell their products or packages.
I once bought a really cheap voucher from S2 slimming center which included a facial, massage and one slimming session. I'm not gonna go into the long details, but what happened was the consultant was extremely persuasive and will poison you with lies to get you to sign up. I was pretty sure she wouldn't let me out of the room until i put down a deposit. After refusing to sign up for the slimming package, she tried very hard to sell me the facial package instead.
This happened about a few years ago, when i was 18 in fact, I almost wanted to sign up for their expensive facial package, but thank god i had the sense to say no.
I think you can just google the reviews for slimming centres and you will get the truth.
you are right! well, if people are super rich and can continuously invest into slimming center.. by all means.. go ahead. by the time they want to get to their desired shape.. they have already invested more than 100k.
slimming centers, beauty salons (facial).. you name it.. utterly persuasive..hardcore shall i say to make you sign up and when you finally don't want to, they will give you the lousiest service for the voucher you have bought.
i think they shouldn't do that.. they should give their best service to those ppl first (with voucher), then when they are satisfied, tell them about the package and etc... in that case, i believe consumer will feel more satisfy and perhaps will sign up. i mean how can they expect consumers to sign up their packages without trying it right?
alright.. even if they don't want to sign up after the trial.. at least they will remember their good service and when anyone asked them any beauty salon to recommend, they will always remember that good service. that's why.. due to their job is mainly based on commission, they become this hardcore in selling. sigh.. sad sad...
that's why i never ever go for facial or slimming center. luckily the hair salon i go to doesn't sell their stuffs this way.
