so many critic of apple stuff but after tested wit iphone the graphics is pretty cool and best of all its not lag. and when n8 launch ppl will make noise not enough application.

most developer now focus on iphone games like ea games, gameloft and etc.

outdated as in the OS only. because its using symbian which is not so user friendly and eye catching for touch screens. but i guess most people dont really care about the OS. like me biggrin.gif

I might just wait for the Meego upon seeing the nice stuffs it has in the preview. Or while waiting for the n8 price to drop.

i do care about camera...but dislike DSLR or Digicam.very inconvenience.those DC and DSLR fanboy love to bring their bulky camera walk around which i unable to understand.so if N8 price tag below than 2k is very worthy.

Well N8 have its own merit too. The best bang for the buck I believe.
And not to mention, the N8 runs Symbian^3, which supports both S60v5 apps as well as QT apps ( Meego, Symbian^4 and beyond). Hence, if some cannot live without certain S60v5 apps (Garmin comes into mind here), maybe N8 is the best shot after all. Don't forget that Symbian^4 breaks all compatibility with S60 apps though. icon_idea.gif

And Samsung? Pfft, as drollworthy as Wave looks like, I can't trust them for support on my phone.
Yes, I already played with Wave + Bada OS before, and I've to agree that it is quite sleek and have some potential. But again, I don't believe them with supporting my phone. And before I been flamed by others, I believe that support in this terms not only in adding new features but also must include bug fixing and polishing existing functions. The main prob with Samsung was dat they tend to check almost all things in terms of function but then also left out quite damn bugs.
Pretty damn annoying if u ask me

Something regarding the hardware for the N8, the phone might be build with the TI WiLink 7.0 (WL1281/WL1283) latest chipset, saying this because the BT 3.0 and the WiFi "n" is something new where not much chipset actually supporting it, looking at the N8 where have all BT 3.0 + GPS + WiFi b/g/"n" + FM Transceiver where all these luxurious features can all in-directly indicate they might use a "single" chipset solution... but just wondering how good the GPS performance on this WiLink 7.0 hopefully it's also using the same or more advance sensitivity then the NaviLink 6.0 hmm.gif

At least there was some effort by Nokia to rectify the problems. Heck we even got our newest Fw v22. Being an N97 user too, I too felt PITA when suddenly the phone started to crap out on me sweat.gif

But for Samsung, as they market the phone, well thats about it. Heck some if it become worse after updates from samsung...*cough omnia hd cough* whistling.gif
