just to check, at another post, i saw a member comment saying that we should try to confine our work out at gym btw 45-1 hour.  Is that correct?
*
erm no. work out as long as you want, just dont take super long breaks between sets smile.gif (yes, 5 minutes is super long)

Which meal would you suggest to improve? If i take whey in the morning, tea time and after gym, would it be ok or shall i go by protein in natural food?

(inclusive of bar 20kgs)
For bench press with barbell, i can do 60kgs smoothly. Cash push till 70kgs but not full motion.
Dumbbell i can go till 70lbs per side.

For calves, with machine i can do 95kgs smoothly and max i can go is 135kgs. With the assisted rack, i can do up to 112kgs.
*
all comes down to nutrition then. you are lifting heavy already imo.

Haha, i always feel weird when there are eyes looking at me in the gym because they look way bigger than me and they lift way lighter  tongue.gif

Haha, i started off with 4kgs i think close to 2 years ago.  blush.gif

Just push yourself gradually and you will see the results.

nd whenever i do bench press, i will "keep" my tumb aside (previously put it over the bar to avoid it falling) and true enuf i realise it helps alot in tranning the part muscle
*
i dont get it. how do you keep your thumb aside and how does it help in training which muscle part?

should do cardio too. but be warned if you cut you're gonna lose muscle mass as well, 1lbs of muscle for every 3lbs of fat lost. read that somewhere.

question: every time i do deadlifts, i tend to have cramps on my right lower back, and if i keep doing despite the cramp it extends down to my right leg, lol. why does this happen and how do i remedy it. reps around 8-10. and my knees shake at the last few reps while doing it too sad.gif sad.gif

Video of your deadlift bro. You might be having a flaw in your technique. If you are into bodybuilding, you do not necessarily need deadlifts IF they really don't agree with your body.

As for muscle loss, not necessarily if you go for a slow cut. Not saying muscle loss won't occur but you can minimize it.
*
okay, will get around to it. yeah i'm quite new to deadlifts, and tbh i dont really plan to do it often from now on. aint worth sitting down for 10 minutes for one set of DL's sad.gif.

If you really want to do deadlifts, do it at the end of your back workout.
*

I don't understand how come bodybuilders and powerlifters can lift through heavy metal music. All the screaming and shouting. Zzz... I know it works for some but the noise is way too distracting.
*
heh amen! personally i dont use any music other than the background top 40 hits my gym airs, and only to distract myself while resting.

Friend wants to get one tub.
*

Heh you should see my stock. Occupies just a small part of the table. BCAA and whey, nothing else. Up to now people can't believe me when I tell them that's the only supps I take.
*
DL, why do you take BCAA's over the other supps, ie glutamine, creatin etc? read the benefits of BCAA at bb.com, so i'm kinda wondering whats your reason to choose this out of the many other supp's out there.

been taking whey myself, and planning to get another supplement. taking my sweet time to ponder which supps has the bang for the buck for me

i suppose you're talking about my diet?since i'm working now(guilty of going online during working hours sweat.gif ),it is quite hard to find clean protein packed food to consume. and am I eating too little? cause I'm looking to lose stubborn fats,so am not too sure how much to consume.
*
set your priorities straight. its quite hard to pack in the muscles and at the same time lose fat as it means a rigorous control on your nutrients. either way pack in more proteins, consume less carbs but dont totally eliminate it and avoid processed foods.

as for your workout, prioritize lifting weights more if you wanna bulk up, or prioritize cardio if you want to lose weight/fats. dont do both and expect great results.
