my emule server also very slow .............

between tat all my incoming files also cant open already!!!!!!!!!!!!

anybody face a same problem like me ?

All my files corrupt already !

Anybody help me ?

me too usually i set 4242 and it was fast like hell hitting 80-90kb/s until starting last month all download suddenly STOPPED downloading and now average speed i got never go up more than 1k MEANS IT WAS SLOWER THAN A 56K MODEM.. lol what happened? did streamyx did something?

TMNet has introded traffic shaping to curb P2P usage...

the only way to avoid this is to use transport encryption which is available in Azureus...

and the conclusion is you guyz will stuck with taht speed if using eMule, limewire or any p2p program other than bittorent.
believe me, i have one 600mb file that still not completed from last week on eMule.

Well guess I havta switch to bt for the time being. My bt runs fine at average 40-50k/s

But emule's still my fav as it has lotsa 'rare' goodies

try to change your port number ..
I did mine b4 tmnet starts to capping..until now, it stills run fine


not really. How come I still can get 40-50kB always?
sometimes, there are limited sharer.. expecially those very old files

first of all, try to connect to server which have a lot of user. E.g, donkey server No1

try to change the port number.. and make sure u have a high ID and high source of the file..

1. Your port setting, mine still at 4242 (tried 4243, 4244 etc etc) -> same
2. What version of emule/edonkey u are using
3. 2nd choice server if unable to connect to donkey server no1

UDP : 4700

2. Emule version 0.46c as i heard a lot complains regarding 0.47
keeping myself with the older version for now,until good news is spread about the new version..

3. For now no second choice server
coz i was able to login donkey for 24/7 (used to be my second server)

From your above info,i can see you maybe behind router or using firewall.
Problem is.........
Connected with Low ID
Kad Network is Firewalled

Try port forward or set your firewall setting.That's maybe help "abit".

Recently my Emule has the following problem,

After I started Emule for about 10 minutes, it hanged.. cannot minimize/maximize, it just did not move, then I closed it, as usual it says program not responding bla bla.

When I wanted to off the PC it took forever and I have to force it to shut down.

It happened again and again.

I uninstalled 0.47a (recently upgraded) and reinstalled 0.46c, still the same.

Any idea what is going wrong??

I've tried to do port forward at my ip, but i dunno what is dst IP, Port start, Port End and Port Map.....Can you help me??

What modem/router that you use?

For the ip you can find it at "Command Prompt" then type "ipconfig" it will show up your "IP Address".

For the port start/end/map,just type the number that you need to forward.
Example:
Port Start:26987
Port End:26987
Port Map:26987

After done with port forward,to make sure it forward successfull you can test it over HERE,then enter the number if success means you done with it but fail means you still have problem with the setting.

what if im high id and all my download are moving from 0-2 kbps and then back to 0 for a long long time.. i opened a day u know how much i have downloaded from the statistic? below 10mb.. zzz.. all the files are a lot of sources but what i get is 10mb per day.. lol.. any mend to this? i set port 4242..

Like i've said before there no other way round to mend this problem.
Tmnet has done something on p2p downloading.
My eMule only works on the odd hours like 2-6 am.
Other than that the downlad speed often at 0kB/s

ZTE zxdsl 831 modem rounter can do such configuration or not?? and when i type in my IP address,it prompt out the box require my username and password, where can i obtain my username and password??
