jones007, what fariz mean is while although there is lot of source, you need to look at the completed files. sometimes having a lot source with 0% of completed files ain't help you. try getting more source files and completed at same time

QUOTE(eltaria @ Feb 26 2006, 12:03 AM) QUOTE(eltaria @ Feb 26 2006, 04:24 PM) Well, i've did a test and downloaded a highly sought after movie. XxX don't think so. My download speed is still the same like normal. capable of reaching at average 45kB/s using 512Mb packageNormally, you can see the dl rate maxed out, very fast.... but not this time.. Fastest I got is 3k... if I'm lucky. Normally, hangs around 1k. and less!! WTF??! sigh~ razorback 2.0 no more liao shifted my attention to 2.4 .. hopefully slowly it will attract more people. QUOTE(eltaria @ Feb 26 2006, 04:35 PM) Well, good to see someone still has good speed.. i got worried for a while there when the other 2 posters said the samething's been happening to them... one thing for sure is Screamyx advertisement are misleading ..Apparently, ISPs can detect certain packets as belonging to BT/ED2K/P2P.. for example, Hope that's not the case here well, they have capped BT since it is most widely used.. Emule, I don't know since it is not everyone favourite due to they said longer time to finish download. Thinking of what will happen to the razorback2 owner Expecting a big nuclear directed to them. |

I tested p2p clients in my workplace...download speed still at 1-2kb/s. And guess what, it's suppose to be a corporate line. Quite fast when doing http/ftp transfers. Did not face any problem though. Just wait a few more days. If not, file a complained then. But I don't think it will be heard JARING, when r u coming to daddy? ![]() This post has been edited by stevanistelrooy: Mar 25 2006, 11:18 AM |

QUOTE(IntegraTypeR @ Nov 27 2006, 03:56 AM) Funny, my upload pipe isn't being utilized. TMnet caught us and our OB ? there are few possibilities. My download pipe is still okay, although being shared with a torrent client. I set upload limits for both eMule and my torrent client, therefore it shouldn't clash. Other users of eMule, anyone having strange low upload problems ? your file are not "hot" enough or most probably your setting that causes that. What emule version you are using? Sometimes, I do face similar problem, but download still the same. Just ignore it if it just sometimes, but if always, might be some problem occurring though. |

There is no problem connecting.
Emule is running fine. And for the low ID issue, or could not connect to the server, try brute force connect(manual). Try a few time until you success. P/s: I'm assuming that you guys have a amount of upload and download rate |

let your emule to upload for overnite
emule is using queue methods the more you upload, the faster you will get the queue. good for leechers that hit and run |

QUOTE(Hornet @ May 24 2007, 07:38 PM) I notice that only obfuscated connection (with the key sign beside the user icon) can get good speed. Those without obfuscated being use will have lower speed. Upload too. a lot ppl in malaysia using emule, uses obfuscation to overcome tmnet's throttleI think TmNet throttling does affect emule too, thought it can still be protected with the obfuscation feature. QUOTE(Joey87 @ May 26 2007, 08:26 PM) Everything is fine, just the download speed. My Obfuscation is on, high ID, but out of a sudden my speed drops from 90s to 10s..upload speed remain.. this is common.emule is not like bt where once your speed hit max, it will hit max. you need to wait for your queue as well |

the more you upload, the shorter time you need to wait
at least that applies to me Uploaded more than 200GB of data and even now when I need to download stuff, I can get instant download without need to wait for a longer time period. It is just a matter of contribution of upload and download that you make. Be a good ratio of seeder and all would fit the bill perfectly and as what Hornet has said, yes, reconnect it manually until you get HighID. |

QUOTE(jake23 @ Jul 21 2007, 08:53 AM) I am a newbie and downloaded not popular files. What you need is just let the upload for 1 night or few days, then you will see the difference.I am using the 512k package now. Is that worth for me to upload with high speed ?(more than 20k ?) My dl speed was quite low now. As longer you use, then you will get what I mean. There is no need to upload more than 20k, but it is recommended if you are capable of. 10-12k should be sufficient for 512kbps package QUOTE(jake23 @ Jul 24 2007, 09:04 AM) I have completed download one of the download files. Yes, it will auto upload to the client that requested the part. How to upload to other clients ? Is it auto upload to other clients if part is needed ? It is using queue method, instead of torrent, leech method. One need to wait for its turn in order to get the part. QUOTE(Angeline @ Jul 30 2007, 06:51 PM) Under setting options |
