does changing my port from 4662 to 4242 will make my com vulnerable to trojan attacks? or it's just the same with 4662 except faster speed.. ?

LOL port 4242 works wonders.. download speed 80kbps above... thanks to those people who contribute this information..

shocker: you using router.. ? i think after u port forward it, it should have stay the way it shub be right?

urr.. why is 4242 more vulnerable? i only change port in my emule program from 4662 to 4242, does that count as port-forwarding?

OO.. i'M USING adsl dialer... my internal is firewalled by Norton.. i think that's safe =D haha..

yeah emule is good because it file range it the best of all p2p program and the speed is good with good configuration.. =)

me too usually i set 4242 and it was fast like hell hitting 80-90kb/s until starting last month all download suddenly STOPPED downloading and now average speed i got never go up more than 1k MEANS IT WAS SLOWER THAN A 56K MODEM.. lol what happened? did streamyx did something?

what if im high id and all my download are moving from 0-2 kbps and then back to 0 for a long long time.. i opened a day u know how much i have downloaded from the statistic? below 10mb.. zzz.. all the files are a lot of sources but what i get is 10mb per day.. lol.. any mend to this? i set port 4242..

they will all facing this problem soon coz tmnet being doing this slowly in installing cisco router all over the country =) im one of the affected users since starting this january 2006.. b4 that speed was smooth and now wa la =)

trying for the first 15 minutes and the speed kinda good although it drops back to 0/kbps very often and average speed is better than nothing.. lol.. going to give in more review after i open it for a long time.. is this neo emule safe?

anyone got problem with neoemule? i got problem..after installing u have to disable Windows Firewall otherwise the program will hang..

after that.. i succesfully open the program and after 10 mins or so it hang my computer, my windows interface from blue theme switched to normal theme, and i can't disconnect my adsl connection.. zzzz.. anyone encounter this with the neoemule ?

report from 4am-9am from Ipoh .. using Neoemule with the traversal guide from playsafe.. yea downloaded 700mb around that time.. hitted 50kbps.. then after 11am everything down to around 5-10kbps.. lol..

from 11am onwards my speed getting sickenening with speed dropping back 1.0 kbps and then hit back 0 and start again zzz (yup with the traversal on the speed reach 1kbps rather than nothing at all with plain emule) but still sickening lol =D

and then starting from 8:30pm speed go back up again.. slowing reaching over 10-20kbps.. but the speed also sickening.. yup it reach around 20kbps but not for long.. lol.. sudden drop back to 1-4kbps then up again then drop and a few files is suddenly at 0kbps.. zzz.. (while i'm typing this i'm cursing TMnut for giving us user so many trouble to guess and bypass their troublesome THROTTLING thing or watever..)

i was wondering if the traversal really working.. cuz i heard someone from Ipoh said there is this range of time that a non-traversal eMule will work..

Well I'm getting good result with it.. Not bad getting nice kbps without dropping back to Okbps as usual.. Donkey server now support Obfuscated connection too.. my credit point is lost due to formatting my com last week.. zZzz.. i guess i have to open it for a days or two to get back my credit point..

I found out that during clean install of 0.47c the obfuscation mode is not ON by default.. this might not be good since many user in other side of the world is not affected by ISP throttling.. anyway to inform the emule developer abt this?

4.70c work wonders now LOL.. it can get 24 hrs with speed that i can get 1 year ago =D better than traversal

my average speed is around 50kbps while it can hit around 80kbps even in the afternoon where there is throttling exist.. =D OB feature rocks!!

yea turn on OB and i left blank on the ONLY OB MODE.. =D

what's wrong with kad opened? i'm not having problem with kad so far although my isp throttling, the ob works wonders.. ^^
