I'd suggest you not to use verycd's build of emule
It is indeed bundled with some spyware and toolbars as well

I have a connection with 1.5 mbps download speed and 256 kbps upload speed. In my Emule configuration, to which speed shud I configure my download and upload speed? Btw, am sharing the connetion with my friends, there are 5 of us sharing the connection.

And btw, why my Kad cant be connected ya? :s It's always written firewalled. I already turned off my windows firewall, and I dont use any firewall software.

Make sure you got click the connect button,after awhile it will be connected and "Status" there should be change to "Open" not "Firewalled".

Max dl speed: 50.7k/s (average around 45)
Max ul speed: 16.8k/s (average around 15)

Dl limits 60kb/s
Ul limits 18kb/s <---- these 2 not as important I think

TCP 4242
UDP 4662
Opened port on windows firewall

Max source files; hard limit 500
Max connections 400
Both Kad and Emule network enabled

anyway, i think not really MUST open the 4242 and 4662,
as long as you set in your emule there,just follow the port number....
then can get in HIGH ID.....
well....that's good setting for all

I try to use BT and emule at the same time, sometimes can get the maximum download in my 512kbps.....around 45KB/s.....(total of both)
and upload just have to limit to 12KB/s (total of both)

but few days ago, emule is really slow....
and got too many trojans....
then now stop emule....running BT....

I think u Need a router to do Port Forward..Correct me if i am wrong..

If your ADSL modem has a router mode and you have enabled that instead of bridged mode, then yes, you would have to do port forwarding to get the ports.

Please post your network issues at the Network forum instead if you have any more issues with regards to this.

Re-do your port forwarding
start > run > cmd > ipconfig
Re-check your IP address from there (not subnet mask/IP gateway).
Enter that IP address at the "Local Address From-To"
in your modem's port forwarding startpage.

oh yes, beware of fake razorback servers.

The real razorbacks are in these IP subnet range : 195.245.244.xxx
