There is a focus point but its not a point per say. The conventional DSLR uses phase detection for focusing so there are sensors involved. If you see through the viewfinder you will know what I mean.

Cameras like the PEN/GF-1 uses contrast detect focusing but in my opinion they are not as accurate. The E-PL1's focusing is based on an area selected. And that area isn't small/fine enough especially when you're working with a thin DOF. You just want a small point or plane to be in focus. Say if you want to take picture of dogs. Dogs has long nose. And we tend to point the focus area at the dog's face. But the long nose may fool the sensor to make it focus on it. So you get a picture with only the nose in focus but the dog's eyes are slight out of focus due to the thin DOF.

For GF-1, you can adjust the size of the focus area, as well as the location of the focus area. Setting the focus area smaller would make the focus more accurate in this case, i suppose.

Seldom using the Di466 especially after getting my 20mm

bought my GF1 last week combo with 20mm pancake.hehe.anyway,is there any different if i use normal SD card or Extreme version ?

ohh..so the low the class,the faster it will store the file right ? it will stated on the SD what class it fall right ?

Class 2 - slowest
Class 4 - middle speed
Class 6 - fastest

By the way, now got Class 10 already...kekeke... or maybe more... 

Seems that not much GF-1 users shoot raw. All Jpeg only how to see the true beast on GF-1.

Probably you can be like samurail33t and post some Post process raw shot from GF-1!!!

White EPL-1 with a Panny 20mm and add-on a Panny 14 - 45mm

OR

White EPL-1 with a Oly M.Zuiko 14-150mm and add-on a Panny 20mm.
