Any news about upcoming olympus pen model?? i sold my GF1 after owned it for 5 months.. just like wat other said.. i only can get around 75% of sharp photos while other are blur and not sharp..kinda disapointed..even using Auto mode also not much different.. haiih.. and also kena poison by olympus pen's colour! so decided to move to olympus! and i dun hope the case like after i get gf1, then epl1 announced in the next week.. really 

hmm...oly colour is really saturated ..! i lov it.. GF1 colour is just a bit too 'real'.. and shooting human will make his face become too chocolate and dark..wont look nice.. but in some situation, its really good to have natural colour .. 

i dunno about u.. i feel m43 user is not those who want to PP and shooting raw...

and for color, i think maybe GF1 can set some colors... to match Olympus...

i can say m4/3 with 25mm f1.4 is a damn good potrait lens...a must have...a must try!!!

Cool Bro. Oh ya, it may sound like comparing ep2 with G11! Definitely ep2 is way way above g11, no doubt! And that's why I go for ep2 and trash G11! But the truth is, I have read some review that I dont remember where that it mentioned G11's light sensing ability has been pumped up and this is proven through my use of G11 for about 3 months. During that time, I was really amazed at G11's ability to handle low light, given its small size sensor. Imagine if they transfer this technology to its bigger brother, those big guns EOS series! 

Unfortunately I have sold off my G11 to upgrade to ep1 and now to ep2. May be I can still scavenge for some G11 photos and post them here later tonite.

Yeah.. I love compacts to death for the carry everywhere capability... especially the S90 and frankly, I'm considering getting another camera mainly because of samurai1337's poisonous flikr!!!! 

However, the size also cannot be too big cos the only time that I really have for tangkap gambar is on biz trips etc ... and for these, I cannot pack a dslr.

i would like to ask a noobish question lol.
im using a gf1 with 20mm lens.
but i would like to get a nice good CHEAP zoom lens. somthing in the range of 15-150mm!
but the leica with adapter will cost about 5k.... and the panny HD recording lens costs about 3k...
haha are there any other more "affordable" alternatives!!

I think the answer is no, especially you would need OIS for zoom lens on GF1

If you don't mind the range of 45-200mm, Panasonic has one native m43 lens

Agree... for GF1, only 50-200mm lens from Pana is the best.
No OIS... will be bad for GF1

I think u should get at least 1 pancake like Oly 17mm f/2.8 or Pana 20mm f/1.7 .. then either get 50-200mm or 14-140mm..

I hope you have put pancake into ur consideration.. its a must for m43...

I guess Panasonic manufacturing cost is somewhat higher since it's based in Japan

No doubt about the sharpness, but I still can't justify myself spending 800dollar for what I consider a specialty lens...

im using a gf1 and i want to get a remote shutter.... (wired or wireless? or infrared?)
can recommend me a good affordable alternative? or brand or model?
i've searched the forum for 1month plus but could not find 1 for the gf1...
and the original is $175 omg so mahal for 1m wired shutter remote!

i saw harvey norman selling the gf1 at rm 3549 with the 20mm lens instead of rm 3799 as advertised in panasonic ad. sounds like a good deal but i'm gonna go around the shops to check out the prices 1st
