if u wana buy gf1+20mm, and want a zoom lens,
i reccomend the 14-140mm!! then you'll have 1 fixed lens and also a variable zoom!
but.... its expensive.... T_T rather than save up for my 14-140 on my gf1,
i opt to get an epl1 twin lens kit lol.... epls+2lens is 2680.... lens for gf1 is about 3000 haha

not much lens you can choose...

either u go tele or u go wide..depend on what u want to shoot... maybe u can tell us wat u want to shoot?

Family picture, indoor picture, low-lighting = 20mm f/1.7 will do the job well

7-14mm f/4 is great wide angle lens...
it's fast, af fast, sharp...
there's no 50mm f/1.4 with AF for m43 unless u wanna do MF..
i dun remember there is 40-150mm m zuiko... I think its just normal zuiko 40-150mm with adaptor... pls contact frequency...he

Since you come from Sony, Olympus E-PL1 give you same in-body stabilizer. Its the cheapest and look like compact camera.
Another choice you have is Panasonic GF1 which most dSLR user will use because it seems the operation is faster. Go and
try both camera to see which one suits you more.
Just get the GF1 bundle with pancake.

For RM1500, you can think about 45-200mm

Hi, I got two SD cards one is microSD card 8GB Class 6 and another is SD card 8GB Class 4. I feel both are the same in terms of speed of photo taking only. I believe you will feel the difference only when you are using burst mode JPG or RAW (file the bigger the slower of coz) and HD video recording. You better get at least a Class 6 card for faster storage.

    * Class 2: 16 Mbit/s (2 MB/s) Slowest
    * Class 4: 32 Mbit/s (4 MB/s)
    * Class 6: 48 Mbit/s (6 MB/s)

Cool got Class 10 already , I still under utilize my card, maybe shall try some HD video recording .

Class 2 - slowest
Class 4 - middle speed
Class 6 - fastest

Superzooms tend to be cheaper than budget tele lenses anyway.

Take for example Canon's 18-200 and 55-250, the 55-250 is much cheaper than the 18-200..

And yes, in the 14-140's case, it does have quite autofocus which shouldnt get picked up during video recording.

because 14-140mm is design specifically to take video with smooth AF...
