QUOTE(joeong @ Jul 1 2010, 02:05 PM) if u wana buy gf1+20mm, and want a zoom lens, i reccomend the 14-140mm!! then you'll have 1 fixed lens and also a variable zoom! but.... its expensive.... T_T rather than save up for my 14-140 on my gf1, i opt to get an epl1 twin lens kit lol.... epls+2lens is 2680.... lens for gf1 is about 3000 haha Wow..MYR3000 for 14-140 ? It's quite expensive tho.is that the market price in Malaysia?or I can get it cheaper in singapore ? I love gf1,been dreaming all this while..haha..so if I don't have enough budget, just get 20mm first, while funding for variable zoom right?

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Jul 1 2010, 04:24 PM) Family picture, indoor picture, low-lighting = 20mm f/1.7 will do the job well scenery, I think you should wide angle... Wat is ur budget for second lens? 7-14mm f/4 is great wide angle lens... it's fast, af fast, sharp... there's no 50mm f/1.4 with AF for m43 unless u wanna do MF.. i dun remember there is 40-150mm m zuiko... I think its just normal zuiko 40-150mm with adaptor... pls contact frequency...he wants it... waiting for ur pix... I don't have fix budget, roughy around 1500.if it's too expensive ,then I will buy gf1 bundle with pancake first then will buy second lens in the future..can u pls recommend lens that suit my needs and the price as well?thanks a lot bro.

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Jul 1 2010, 07:48 PM) Since you come from Sony, Olympus E-PL1 give you same in-body stabilizer. Its the cheapest and look like compact camera. Another choice you have is Panasonic GF1 which most dSLR user will use because it seems the operation is faster. Go and try both camera to see which one suits you more. Just get the GF1 bundle with pancake. For RM1500, you can think about 45-200mm http://shashinki.com/shop/panasonic-45200m...mp;currency=USD Added on July 1, 2010, 7:48 pmlol.... sniper of the roof knows that I joking only Thanks for your advise bro.really appreciate it!

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Jul 14 2010, 04:31 PM) check the speed... if the speed same, then there's no different. Those are name only. You have to know the READ and Write speed... Wuahaha is right... get at least Class 6... I use lower class before and my movie taking with 720p also not smooth... so get Class 6... oo0oo... maybe I should go cure my poison.. sigh... QUOTE(Wuahaha @ Jul 14 2010, 03:50 PM) Hi, I got two SD cards one is microSD card 8GB Class 6 and another is SD card 8GB Class 4. I feel both are the same in terms of speed of photo taking only. I believe you will feel the difference only when you are using burst mode JPG or RAW (file the bigger the slower of coz) and HD video recording. You better get at least a Class 6 card for faster storage. ohh..so the low the class, the faster it will store the file right ? it will stated on the SD what class it fall right ?

QUOTE(raptor_cZn @ Oct 25 2010, 01:03 AM) Superzooms tend to be cheaper than budget tele lenses anyway. Take for example Canon's 18-200 and 55-250, the 55-250 is much cheaper than the 18-200.. And yes, in the 14-140's case, it does have quite autofocus which shouldnt get picked up during video recording. QUOTE(gogo2 @ Oct 25 2010, 12:20 AM) because 14-140mm is design specifically to take video with smooth AF... oh,no wonder...alright,if u in my situation, which lens u gonna get ??i know these two lens is just because they are panasonic..but,from what ive seen in the youtube video, there are so many lens that work wonder with gf1..its like mix and match..

QUOTE(Wuahaha @ Oct 27 2010, 04:00 PM) PP = Post-processing using Photoshop or Lightroom. Some sure cheaper alot, some are bout the same. Usually got 1 year international warranty, but u have to send to respective manufacturer right? I think a bit mafan. yeah..but here selling 14-140 almost 3k and amazon US selling it for USD750..its about MYR700 cheaper.hurm...and i dont think lens will be a lot of problem right ? no ? thanks
