QUOTE(Vieri777 @ Jul 5 2010, 12:44 PM)
guys, since i'm thinking to sell my 40-150mm lens, do i need to keep the adapter ?
i can just fix the pana 20mm without adapter, right ?
*
I think people buy ur lens will want the adapter... also if u no plan to get 43 lens,
then adapter is useless to u also...then should sell it rather than keeping it at home...
next time can buy again...

QUOTE(OlgaC4 @ Jul 5 2010, 12:53 PM)
Shooting with GF1 at what level of ISO that the noise will be noticed?
*
People will say 800 and above.. but how noticeable is consider noticeable?
Probably you mean, noise will be damaging to the picture? I think GF1 is usable
up to 1600... that's what I heard.. tongue.gif

QUOTE(chickenducksoup @ Jul 5 2010, 01:00 PM)
anyone here from penang island?
can provide some recommend camera shop contact number?
wanan call and ask for EPL1....going to get later....

A lot of people go Click and Snap:
+604-2621 663

I bought my E-P1 from Hike Enterprise:
+604-2293710

Some people go to Excel:
+604-226 2973
This one you can ask a lot of freebies I think....

Old contact (maybe not valid anymore)

Thanks for the advice. Both also valid..keep for future or sell now & buy later when need arise.
Shop selling lens for 1100 and adapter for 550. Total 1650.
Anybody wanna make me an offer for brand new unused lens ? Single purchase also can, package deal also can. Hehe
*
listen to Davidmak, really... smile.gif

QUOTE(davidmak @ Jul 5 2010, 02:45 PM)
Do consider this if you bought the twin kit cause the price is packaged all-in-one so you save. So prospective buyers may hit on this point to negotiate a lower price. So you will need a better price than 1650 to attract customers. However, if you bought them separately then it is a different story and you may ignore my comment.

2 cents hehe...
*
You're actually right...

E-PL1 twin lens and single lens difference is how much?

http://www.pjnet.com.my/ftopict-30738.html

QUOTE
Olympus PEN E-PL1 14-42mm (8gb/sp/tp/bag) rm2199
Olympus PEN E-PL1 14-42mm & 40-150mm (8gb/sp/tp/bag) rm2699

RM500 difference I think people will hit this point.. tongue.gif

Ask frequency how much he willing to pay? tongue.gif

I shall heed both your advice, dear sirs !
the twin kit lens really is a deal breaker for me when comparing to the GF1
i'll consider any serious offer...but if too low, then better i just keep right ?
*
of course, if too low, just keep it...

if u able to sell at RM1600, your E-PL1 is RM1200 only... which is too good to be true...

Here is the price people sell:
http://www.photomalaysia.com/forums/showthread.php?t=91867
RM500 for lens

For adapter, i heard its not really RM500 because it reduced cost from MMF-1... so
price will be RM300....

So... RM500+RM300 = RM800 maybe got people wanna buy...

Bro, which shop got sell the adapter for RM300 ? hope u dont mind sharing
*
MMF-2? I just grab it from the air... because I heard MMF-2 is cheaper build material than MMF-1...
Check this out for review between MMF-1 and MMF-2...
http://www.flickr.com/groups/olympusesyste...57623769006815/

As we know, MMF-1 is RM500... so I believe MMF-2 will be RM300~400...
If they sell MMF-2 for RM500, then I believe you can sell your lens + adapter
for higher price....maybe RM1000?

just rattling around to get my best result with best setting, the result still the same  rclxub.gif
i think i still dont understand ISO for, Aperture for and Shutter for, can u guys give me recommended example setting to start play with?
maybe setting with low light and day time
*
Day time
= use aperture priority and turn to smallest Fnumber (example fnumber from 3.5 to 22, choose 3.5)

Low light
= use shutter priority and change shutter to 1/60..., ISO maybe 1600 or higher, aperture must be smallest number also

freeze and snap moving objects, set to shutter priority and use higher shutter speed smile.gif

wanna snap a subject but still wanna maintain the sharp background (esp those who are travelling), use higher aperture value and shoot the subject from distance.
*
anyway, I'm asking him to have higher shutter speed at 1/60 or more like 1/100 or 1/300 so that he can at least get a sharp pix first...
then he can start to change ISO and Aperture if its too dark tongue.gif

Drying tree is nice effect smile.gif smile.gif

Overall, could be better if you use hood for first picture and the rest, should use
polarizer to get bluer sky!!!

If you did use polarizer.. then its weird because the sky is too bright...

Yes I do have CPL on for my kit 14-45mm, but not on my 20mm lens sad.gif That's why on some pics the sky are slight too bright. doh.gif

BTW, I couldn't think of the composition on that time, as it's a company trip, a bit tight schedule. blush.gif

Actually I was thinking if my composition is limited by my equipment, hahaha. I'm still a noob, learning. rolleyes.gif

Me is from KL, planning to get E-PL1 twins lens, bcoz of budget wise i plan to hav someone who r interested to the adapter & zoom lens. it consider a win win solution for me & for those who interested to the adapter & the zoom lens.

In a simple word can b say as i going to let go the adapter & zoom lens for RM800, so v will deal in this way, v try to come out together to a camera shop & purchase a new set of E-PL1 twins lens, so u will definately get a complete new set of adapter & zoom lens.

reli get poison by this thread a lot but my budget is very tight so no choice have to done in this way if not reli not willing to let go the adapter & zoom lens.
*
You can put a thread in the garage sales to sell it this way too smile.gif or you can buy it and sell it slowly

I'm in the midst of deciding which zoom lens is good to go with my E-P2.

Just a noob question. Does the adapter support AF when using 43 lens? Also, does the 'focal length' works the same on 2x like 45mm to 200mm = 90mm to 400mm?

Thanks in advance.
*
Yes...

Adapter support AF
Focal length also same as 2x...
