the 3rd gen processor still not available so people will hold the mobo, unless they want to plug in their sandy bridge.
anyway c-zone should make sure that they actually has the stock, because based on my experience when z68 release, they put in their pricelist, but when i came to their shop, they said "stock not available, the item inside the pricelist is for EARLY PREPARATION"

means, they forgot the word "coming soon"

i think the reason why the delaying the launch is to solve the heat sensor on ES before launch it to retailers.

i'll grab it next week after selling my current z68+i7-2600k

all the testing was manually setting the vcore and manually setting the multiplier. they should test by using turbo boost accelerate to 4.6 to see whether the temperature is still same like manual multiplier.

like 2600K, there are huge different of temperature for 4.9GHz manually-set multiplier with 4.9GHz with turbo boost. of course with turbo boost you won't get the same speed at the same time.

but i like the way it is, using turbo boost when needed and speed goes down when idling.
conclusion, i will grab it end of this month. yeh! \o/

of course it is expensive at earlier day like when z68 1st launched. after that the price drop from 700++ to 500++

all the reviews are made by testing the ENGINEERING SAMPLE chips. don't you think consumer chip will be based on engineering sample? there are reason they sent engineering sample to testers. and thats the reason. heat issue, bla bla bla.

then you think the problem will be put in the consumers chip? come on.

for example, windows 8 developer/consumer preview, people test, and find bla bla bla. are you think microsoft will release the same version as final retail products??? *SIGH*

like previous sandybridge, many sites claim that it is bla bla and bla. after a year i use that chip, i can say 90% of claims that they made were ridiculous, annoying, and may i speak frankly, too much bullsh*t, and based on self-experience. my point is, you buy, you test, and you will know.

...and again, those only apply to whom doesn't care about reviews, reviews and reviews. have a money, go to shop, buy, assemble it, and use it. after that you will know.

people will not know what will happen if not experience it. it is like to hear a sad story from a person who has a bad luck on something. doesn't mean you will fall into the same problem

yep, it already available if you know where to find. do not ask single/small reseller in this forum. they are slow (no offence) comparing to the already established shops @ lowyat plaza. i ask 2-3 persons in this forum about 3770k and their answer are stereotype: no stocks, bla bla, no stocks, bla bla, distributor still not sending inventories bla bla. the funny things are, they already put 3770k in their lists

to answer your question, i bought @ compu-zone @ lowyat plaza last saturday.

next time, go to shops and buy. small retailers always get their stocks late because from the eye of distributors, this small retailers are not important, and give small profit. also has small amount of customers
