even i use CM hyper 212+ still around 40 on core #0 but around 35c in cpu temp reading based on motherboard's software

so your temperature based on cpu overall temperature or core temperature?

stock cooling should not perform good heat dissipation, but your 58-60 for idle is quite high. and the terms of "idle" means, you're enabling EIST & C1E right? your idle frequency is 1600MHz?

don't run multiple monitoring software. choose one. multiple software giving conflicting temperature reading.
i always choose realtemp. and make sure you get latest version of realtemp, which is now 3.65

and why you need it to become ATX? mATX loose some screw hole, but still match with your atx casing, so i still can fit. but you can try to search if there are "bracket" for mATX to become ATX wink.gif

is that "real" picture gigabyte Z68-UD7 picture? because i don't see any on-board vga/dvi/hdmi ports.

well, seems like local asus office still not contacted all dealers around country about their refunds policy wink.gif

i thought that main concept of z68 is to combine both H & P features plus giving additional features like ssd caching and so on, but looking to this "unsure" picture, seems like it cannot take advantage of on-die graphic processor. maybe because of the letter "X" after the z68 model name probably. blink.gif

they should. Z68 include all function in P67 and H67. therefore P67 is not relevant anymore biggrin.gif

perhaps, if you're "enthusiast" enough, then why bother and yell about the price? of course two things merge together will costs some price wink.gif

hope that all dealers around country allow users to "swap" from their P/H to Z.

p/s: too many "looks like", "what if", "maybe" nowadays wink.gif

the z68 chipsets is not officially launch yet, so most (or all) of the "stories" that you just read is totally:

1. assumption
2. opinion
3. if/else statements
4. what if

even though that you read the chipsets roadmap and diagram 10 times per day wink.gif

regarding sandy bridge chipset issue , has any1 experience problem within 3 months?
my sata 2 experience problem just within 3 months , i switched to sata3 then the hdd working fine~ unlike what intel said "will degrade in 3years time"
*
how do you determine by "experience problem"? what kind of tests did you perform? if you just "feel" it, i assume it is just "placebo effect" icon_rolleyes.gif
