Possible doomsday/armageddon:

-massive earthquakes
-large meteorite hitting earth
-major natural disaster hitting major population area. ie typhoon, flood, etc etc
-deadly plague ie Black Death

nah, not so soon..

What i actually afraid is people would do something crazy regardless doomsday come or not
Things like many 2012 believers kill themself before that day, and someone out thr believe that doomsday is here anyway so they would just do whatever they wan including harming other ppl and all sort of immoral thing

Regardless doomsday come or not, all thanks to the people that are too free and spread around the news to brainwash people

its the ppl who dun really use their brain and accept what others told them and believe everything in it.

The end of the world will come, er..maybe not to non-believers of God...

As when God put the human race on the earth, He will someday take us off the earth for good.

According to Quran, doomsday (kiamat) will come when there is no more Azan (call for prayer) being heard anywhere around the world, no more people believe in being good, going for prayers and so on.

The story has it that, Dajjal were thrown away in the 7th layer of the sky. It will try to dig through, and, everytime he reach the last layer, Azan will be heard and he will run back, closing all hole he made and run back to the 7th layer. And it will repeat, until the day no more azan being heard. The day when Dajjal reach the earth, when evil run this earth.

Of course other religion got their own story of course. So actually the end of the world will come.

But somehow I think 2012 will not be the year...

I dont think 2012 will be the year too God will still gives us chances to improve ourself until Kiamat

There will be olympics

and the world will not come to an end

we would be living in space or colonize some planets by the time the earth is gonna die

I think I have asked this question before.

Why do people keep on saying end of the day will come but not now, not now, not now.

Why not now?? Cause you are still want to live? Cause there will be stronger signs of it coming? Cause mother nature will give warning in advance?


Look at people who involved in accident, how many of them see it coming? If you can predict something like this then it's not called accident, wouldn't it?

The end of the world means the end of the universe....everything will get crushed....every single thing will turn to nothingness...the Big Crush of the universe....thats what doomsday really is...

not a single being knows when it happens..no accurate date or whatever....it happens when it happens....only god knows when....

simply said...i dont believe in 2012....if it really did...then something big is going to happen...not doomsday......

Anything can happen before that: collision with comets, scientists creating a singularity by accident, etc. All devastating to human life.

Even without the sci-fi scenarios, I can think of so many threats:

Peak Oil.
Nuclear Proliferation.
Climate Change.

The world will carry on well enough after all this. Just without us in it.

The planet is fine. The *people* are f---ked.

i dont see why a super-advanced civilization would want to conquer earth.

There are other planets with more minerals than Earth.

I cannot specifically say that I do not believe in the end of the world, but I will be lying to myself if I say I do not believe that all that has a beginning must have an end.

but if what they want are just basic needs to sustain life ( oxygen,water,food and shelter ) , then we might have a big trouble

if they are so advance to be capable of intergalatic travel i dont think all those basic needs are problem for them to generate.
