So, are we all expecting really horrible & catastrophic things to start happening in 2012, and who/what is going to cause it all? unsure.gif

I personally think that is it very unlikely... (2011 is currently really very far too peaceful over here at present... I am not expecting nuclear bombs, asteroids, & global extinctions to suddenly start happening all at once in such a short time...)

Unless a particular catastrophic event (such as astronomical impacts) to wipe out all civilizations "must" just happen in the year 2012... (Or some powerful minds should just decide to go crazy & berserk in the upcoming year and push the red button...)

Definitely the Earth's atmosphere won't suddenly turn poisonous & kill as such... (Unexpected crazy things won't start happening like in Science Fiction just for 2012... Especially in such a terribly short time from now...)

But people will say; prepare for the unexpected... (It can just happen; like earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, solar flares, meteorites, tsunamis, typhoons, hurricanes, tornadoes, on to war, terrorism, hacking, economic crash, and such; which can all happen just very suddenly & anytime...)

It is hard to tell; we can only wait for the upcoming year 2012 to come, and then see for ourselves... (It is only a very short while more; although some mentioned that we should precisely wait until 12/12/2012...)

I have no idea...

Regards.

The world is definitely not thinking like that.

There are still many out there who still does not have any religion nor know anything about God, where they are still neutral.

There there are those who were once believers, but who have now became atheist...

+ many form of unbelievers, atheist, + those who have backslide out there...

P.S., not much of the world currently believes in a creator existence anyway...

Nobody can yet claim that they have "found" the creator as well.

No red buttons will ever be pushed over such a matter.

Regards.

The creation can recreate as the creator created us and it may not mean the god in a religion, you are only implying we are not created by intention but you can't deny we are a creation under a law we known as Natural.

Our entire life is cause and reaction that power development, the only reason is to improve the quality of living and human can just live like animal without purpose, only food to Nature's cycle and if we do ask why? It is an open question awaiting answers, as such, no one can say never ever.

Wow, I miss this side of the forums. It just seems to lack active users, well, even I hadn't been here in a long time.

I was never going to say this out anywhere, but oh well. Instead of writing down on a diary I might as well put it here.

Anyways, I truly believe the world "does not end and will not end". Hold on.

It will be a series of events that will then lead some to believe the world ends. And the way it will be looked at - the world seems to end.

From now til Dec 2012 is too short of a time span for anything big to occur? Well, you'd be wrong. nod.gif It HAS been happening.

It all started with (I believe) the "opening of the big crack" Dec 26 2004 earthquake. It was the event that will then start a continuous chain/series of further quakes that will weaken the Earth's crust.

Before getting all philosophical, let me just say that I have noticed a very eerie pattern to when the big earthquakes occur.

This is what it is - AUGUST 2012 - DEC 2012 will be the final blow.

Turn back a year, and add a month from each of the 5-month duration.

So, the previous big earthquake will be - SEPTEMBER 2011 - JANUARY 2012.

Before this, will then be OCTOBER 2010 - FEBRUARY 2011.

What I mean is...

<START (small earthquakes)> - <END (big earthquake)>
AUG 2012 --- DEC 2012 (the motherloade).
SEPT 2011 --- JANUARY 2012 (???)
OCT 2010 --- FEBRUARY 2011 (two giant ones!)
NOV 2009 --- MARCH 2010
DEC 2008 --- APRIL 2009
JAN 2008 ---MAY 2008
FEB 2007 --- JUNE 2007
MARCH 2006 --- JULY 2006
APRIL 2005 --- AUGUST 2005

*Note that this pattern starts after the Dec 2004 earthquake.

Hmm... Google is your friend for proof.

PROOF IT IS A VALID PATTERN:
For each of the big earthquake months, Google "<month and year> earthquake" and be... shocked. sweat.gif These are not small earthquakes but devastating and deadly ones.

During the "starting month" of these periods, small quakes will occur. I call them 'side dish'. Not the main course. For September 2011 - January 2012, it actually started a little early at the end of August 2011 - - the earthquake that was felt in Washington DC and New York City.

The main, big, devastating ones will occur in the final month - e.g FEBRUARY 2011, JANUARY 2012, DECEMBER 2012

Well. There you go.

After Dec 21+- 2012, we WILL wake up. People WILL go to work. Life WILL go on. BUT - - - it will not be the same for a lot of people.

The world never ends and never will. A series of events will make it look this way. And that if you wish, you can call "end of the world".

*I do have additional things to say to what happens to the people on and after Dec 2012, but it is kinda hard to comprehend, and might seem ridiculous. *Celestial... errr... objects in space* might just "arrive" to give us a helping hand.

Must have feel special to write something like that at this point, 2 scenario for you, if nothing happen, you wear shame for the rest of your life or it does and what you mention here don't make a difference.

Either way who are you to wow us? Nobody.

Well, we will just wait and see... (It is only just a little while more to the year 2012...)

I believe that this country (Malaysia), might not get it as hard as the other countries (if it ever happens)...

Just avoid being inside highrise buildings or even buildings at all during those periods of earthquakes...

However, it would be ever far scarier if (God will decide to return) in the year 2012; thus calling it the END of the world. (For the believers here...) [I don't think many are ready to face HIM yet...]

hmm.gif

Regards.

Errm guys... what is going on. I am confused here. Wear shame for the rest of my life? Who am I to wow us, nobody? Man WTH ? You shouldn't be here then. Geesh man, keep your mind open for goodness sake.

Lol, just added to list of ignored users. Simple. No need to read anymore a**ets remarks, for one who seem so close minded.

You are not the only one watching documentaries and to say it like we have not is meaningless, will you survive after Dec 2012? Tell us how you foresee what happen.

depends really on what you believe in. I mean as a Christian, i believe the world is cming to an end, i just don't know when.
2012 if im not wrong are by the Mayans right? So if you are a Mayan, then obviously you would believe.
If you are an atheist, it's unlikely for you to believe in it because scientifically speaking, the Sun still has a few millions years more (correct me if im wrong) to live, an as the Sun live, we live on.

So what should the Mayan do or don't knowing next year is the end?
We all know we will die one day and could be any day, what difference is there if the world end?

Who cares about the end of the world!

Whether it will come true in 2012 or not - The point is that there is an end of the world.

No matter at what year it comes, start using the time you have rather than worrying about it.

You can't control things such as the end of the world which is out of our control. Focus on what you can control and live the good life.

Do you know what religious or cultural prophecies triumphed in believe? All that are said and written are a sure without the martinet timeline.
I can say, a very large tsunami is to strike on Malaysian shores. Surely, if not today, not tomorrow, not next year, it could be next fifty to hundred years and yet, if I have believers, would quote my prophecies.
After years reaching decades, it is sure that tsunamis were to strike Japan, since the probability is ultimately high as long as you're on Earth and the time is not set which gives you a period of forever for it to happen. And, now, that incident is cited as a repayment for the WWII deeds, as sealed in Christianity, that your future generations will suffer the deeds.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a religious man, but I understand the difference and logics behind these obvious religious prophecies. Science never needs faith, and religions are faith on its own.

we're in 2012 already
there's still some big prophecy that needs to happen before apocalypse not yet happening, not even with the slightest sign
eg, sunrise from west
so, i dont believe that this year would b an end for us

Guess the judgement on the truth of the Mayan prophecy can only be done on the 20/12/2012.
The biggest Solar Storm is predicted to commence on 2012, which would send auroras all over the skies. Hopefully that would not be taken by the believers as the signs of truth.
Years ago, I also read that the Arctic ice will melt completely this year. Conincident much. hmm.gif

the Mayan does not predict the end of world actually, they just make their calender until end of 2012 only. I still can't understand the logic of end of world based on the Mayan calendar. If this logic is true, then we will have end of world every year on 31 December since our calendar are made to show 12 months only every year. doh.gif

So please wake up, it will not be end of world simply based on Mayan calendar. But i can't see the future, so can't guarantee whether tomorrow there will be a meteor hitting earth or alien invasion. laugh.gif

A lot is going to happen in 2012 but unfortunately for those that are expecting the world as we know it to come to an end they will be disappointed. Look at the world today, most of us can only see it from our window, our little corner and much of what we see is run-of-the-mill, nothing exciting

For drama we have to watch or read the news, the war in Afghanistan, the riots in Greece, the crazy weather down under. There is plenty of turmoil going on every day somewhere in the world whether it is war or a climate induced famine and other calamities that keep stirring the pot of humanity.
