Nice... Do you intend to use it or put as a display item?

China also got a single gigantic puer cake for viewing only at one of the tea centre. What a waste.

Cool stuff but I can see mostly young tea..If those boxes are more than 5 years old tea then it be a treat...These amount of tea are great retirement planning strategies.

Anyway, I dun think AA boxes are for keeping tea unless advised by tea owner...Tea easily absorb odour. Best is used back the original boxes.

Here are some of the photos of my other friend's collection... Photos a bit outdated but should show his massive collection...

15 years+ of collection. Many many old teas and hundreds of teapots...

I have no idea what the picture says as I don't know how to read it... but anyways, post here for those that knows how to read...

I don't have any Liu-Pao before, so decided to buy some today...

2003 - Duoteli Liu-Pao 250g x 9

The shop has the same product/brand of 2007, 2003, 2000s, 90s and 70s. The 70s cost 8 times more than the 2003 version...

I tried the 2003 and the 70s both... indeed 70s taste older, but I am not in the hurry to drink this and don't feel it is worth 8x more... hence bought the 2003 version for keeping.

I'm of no expert to tell you, but here are some notes I've learned:-
http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=37873927

For people who have enough experience, they can tell by the colour, the texture, the feel of it, the smell and the sound of the teapot.

For the still learning me, I'm sticking to trusted source/seller.

So far I have been recommended to 2 teapots seller

Tacha @ Kepong (Near Carrefour). They have teapots from factory #1, own branding teapots, and artist teapots. Their own branding teapots are hot items. Normally sold out quite fast (currently only left with zhuni where the other types of clay all sold off). They have sold few modern famous artist teapots too @ RM80k+ and RM100k+ per teapot. The owners (mid 30s ppl) are quite knowledgeable in their products. You can interview them to gain more knowledge.

Yuan Yuan @ LG Pudu Plaza

There may be others that I've not known off yet.
