QUOTE(CBR @ Dec 31 2011, 12:28 AM)
I'm confuse, perhaps you can help me to make it clear:

-I have some 2009, 2010 and 2011 raw puer
-I will age half of the raw puer for many years, another half will be consumed within 1-2 years, maybe 3 years
-to age raw puer (make sure all container have no any odour), better store it in breathable material like zisha or normal unglazed clay canister, uncoated paper box.
-to store the other half of raw puer (to be consumed in 1-3 years), better keep it in sealed or ait-tight container for keeping the natural tea aroma. Some of the puer to be consumed in 1-2 weeks/months (?) can be store in breathable container to wake up the tea?

please help me,pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
*
For those tea that you want to consume in the coming years, you can store them in container. Those for long term can be in their original packaging. Whether you want to seal is up to you. As long as the place you store is away from sunlight, odourless and wetness, it will turn out fine.

If you look for investment, then get Dayi or Xiaguan tea. Those small co tea price won't appreciate as fast as the famous brand. I suggest you buy a few tong for own consumption if you like the taste.

Oh yeah, having lots of bud does not means it will turn out good in the future..Those famous formula 7542, 8582 have little of it..

Personally, I prefer big tree sheng tea. I tried some new tea from Mengku brand and it is quite good..Better than Dayi but then everyone got its own taste preferences..

The other day at Ipoh and went to pasar to eat CCF and saw a shop with iron lohan tea from HK. I bought it at RM 20. Not sure if this can be found in KL. The tea is good but I find the canister more interesting.

well, MD had too much advantages and it is almost indestructable.  I could pause, resume, next or previous track, delete track, move track, and the quality is AWESOME!  Did i mention there was once i listen to a cassette so much that it actually spoil!
Drinking tea while listening to music is grand too. sorry for the off topic
*
I listen to the cassette till it spoilt or get stuck at the tape player. I used to buy blank tapes and record it off radio and do my editing. Some of it more than 20 yrs and still working fine. I don't listen to songs or watch TV when drinking my tea cause it distract too much.

I'm still here, just didn't go much tea shop since I started new job. Moreover, new year not much new Dayi tea out yet. That said, I have 3 Dayi tea (custom) from Dec 2011  arrived at tea shop here waiting for me to collect only  drool.gif

I'm aware of the fair. Will try to drop by but I doubt there will be anything nice within temple (association). Too small space.

Btw, those chamomile tea, etc are all scented tea. they are produced primarily for flavor rather than to adi health aspect
*
They are not really tea but rather flowers. Just like lavender. It does improve health and it is recommend to drink at night rather than normal tea as it is free of caffeine. You can get them at Carrefour or at Legend of Tea @ Curve.

any tea experts here ? I've had the greatest tea i've tasted at sichuan, called "Loh Mi Pu Er Char", pu er with subtle after taste of plum/barley
*
Be careful. Those Loh Mi taste you get may be artificial favour added to it. I know this cause a tea vendor told me how the tea maker enhance the taste of the tea.

thanks guys. so I can get it from a shop called "Tea Li" ? wonder where it is ?

hrmmmm
it wasn't available at chinese tea shops in china, but it was in an apparently "organic chinese vegetarian restaurant" and another chinese muslim small restaurant at jiuzhaigo, they said they "make" it themselves at kampung

Added on April 25, 2012, 12:33 pm

oh yes, the restaurant in chengdu showed me the tea, like shotgun bullet.
and the restaurant at jiuzhaigo looks like common tea though. both tasted somewhat similar
*
Actually you can find chinese tea in Jln Petaling at Chan See Shu Yuen temple. Tea Li is near South City Plaza.

There is already first and second Malaysia Dayi Puerh...

Now first Malaysia Xia Guan puerh... Have not seen/taste the real tea yet. Probably can see it in the upcoming tea expo... box sure looks good (with the KLCC twin watermark)
I hope it will not be selling at a ridiculous price just to goreng the depress puer market

I guess it will burn a big hole in your wallet later. This type of pricing, I will go for 10 yr old puer instead of new tea.

I cannot afford to buy their puerh. I have not reached that level yet  sad.gif

If I recall correctly, per piece:
Cheapest RM88.
Followed by RM138.
Then others RM290.
Wild is about RM6xx
LBZ is about RM9xx

That said, there are many of their customers can afford to buy by toong and cartons. Some of it even nearly sold out (pre-order). I am speechless. This is probably the only tea shop that I know that sells high end young puerh like hot cake. Good for them  thumbup.gif
*
That show tat there is a lot of rich customer who can afford expensive tea. Good for the puer seller but not very good for the industry cause the demand makes those tea too expensive for general consumption. I can remember one tea maker in China used to make ripe tea using LBZ..I dun think so now tongue.gif
